The soft morning sun bleeds through the bedroom's sheer curtains, but you've already been awake for a few hours. The never-ending carousel of intrusive thoughts you've been battling, coupled with falling asleep far before everyone else, have left you with a lazy, but lonely morning. While you've slept in the bedroom, Suresh remains on the daybeds, likely fast asleep.

Lucky, you think.

You rise from bed and stretch, careful not to make too much noise. You shuffle downstairs, heave a great sigh, and get to making a pot of coffee. As it brews, the smell lulls you away.

You've spent many days away from home, so the foreign feeling of sleeping somewhere strange isn't so painful anymore. You yawn, sip your coffee, and walk out, past the daybeds.

To your surprise, you spot Suresh not asleep, as you had assumed, but swimming laps in the pool.

You smile fondly at the familiar vision and then shuffle, bleary-eyed, over to watch. Suresh's long body cuts effortlessly through the water; when he hits one end of the pool, he spins and spirals, heading back in the opposite direction.

Always having been a bit more artistic than athletic, you've always marveled at Suresh's swimming, although you hadn't seen it in action for quite some time.

Suresh's head breaks the surface of the water, and he exhaled. He shakes wet hair free from his face and then leans forward, onto his elbows.

"You couldn't sleep either?" he asks.

"Not at all," you sigh. You sit and slowly dip your feet into the cool water. It feels refreshing, and you cuddle your warm coffee for warmth.

"Eddie still snoring?" Suresh grins.

"Eddie and Dana both," you sigh.

Suresh glances at you for a moment, and he hesitates. You catch this and tilt your head curiously; he catches your quirk and looks away, blushing.

"Come on, spill it," you tell him. "You're awful at hiding things."

"It's just – don't you think it's a bit odd that Dana flirts with both of us?"
