It's Season Five of LITG, and you're the Main Character - until your ex shows up. In this version of events, MC is sweet, stable but fed up with BS. A fun, quick read for those who have been disappointed with S5.
You wake to Kat, gently judging you awake. The early afternoon sun beats overhead, and you shield your tired eyes; Kat hovers over you, grins widely, and then yells.

You roll over on the daybeds, groaning. Kat beams mischievously before hopping up, cupping her hands over her mouth, and yelling again.

The excitement is palpable and as Kat weaves her arm in yours, you feel yourself straighten. Her confidence is contagious. You glance at her and, with a smirk, she blows you an air kiss and guides you to the edge of the pool.
The others gather, and the incoming ping of another text message map out the rules: each "team" take turns blindfolded, and each Islander has the opportunity to kiss two others. Teams must guess who has kissed them simply based on blindfolded body language and at the end of it all, each Islander will have the opportunity to vote for the island's best kisser.
Kat's eyes gleam maniacally.
"I love blindfolds," she tells Finn, and she blows him a kiss. He catches it.
"Of course I'll know if it's you," replies Finn grandly. "I could never forget your lips."
"Oh, blow me," calls Alfie, laughing. "We're winning this thing!"
Eddie shuffles his feet, glances at you, and avoids your gaze. He and Alfie clap their hands together.
The first team takes their positions; you, Kat, and Dana step toward one another and adjust customized silk eye masks over your faces. You try to blink, but close your eyes and take a deep breath.
The boys whoop, and you imagine them clapping one another on their backs. You put your hands on your hips and suppress the urge to roll your eyes.
"Oy, come on," you hear Kat call. "Let's hurry and ge –"
She is unceremoniously interrupted.
You frantically make an effort to listen to the wet sound of whatever kissing techniques Kat was trying out. After a few, drawn out kisses, you hear Kat pull away and laugh.
