Chapter 6:  So, it's either I chose between my idiotic best friend or my moronic roommate.

-Neil's POV-

I watched with dread as Clinton ripped into his wolf right before my very eyes, growled murderously and lunged straight towards Drake, who stood his ground.

Admiration flitted into my annoyed emotions as Drake snarled before he jumped and landed on all four paws in an elegant, growling gray wolf. Darn alpha's and their fancy wolves. It made us commoners look like mutts.

Clinton's black wolf snapped at Drake, who gracefully ducked and crashed straight into his opponent. They separated, eyeing each other like hunters and preys while their lips curved into their canines in furious growls. Clinton ended up making the 1st move by flinging himself into Drake, who snarled and sank its claws into Clint's back in defense. A pained yowl escaped his snout, but he was quick to regain his composure by kicking Drake down onto the ground and snapping into his face.

The 2 wolves looked like a bunch of oversized dogs in my small dorm room, but let's keep that to myself.

Drake, who had been thoroughly pinned down onto the ground, growled loudly before he pushed his back paws up, making them sink their claws into Clinton's stomach. The 2 fell forward, losing their balance before they crashed straight into the window.

My heart sank with irritation when the piercing sound of glass shattering entered my enhanced ears. Great. More insurance.

I sighed and walked towards the broken window. Looking down, I saw that the 2 wolves had once again started wrestling and  nipping at each other.

So, it's either I chose between my idiotic best friend or my moronic roommate. What a brilliant day.

That was the last, sarcastic thing I thought before I jumped out of the shattered edge and landed gracefully onto the grass in my light brown wolf.

-Drake's POV-

I let out a pained whine as the blazing sharpness of Clinton's canines sank straight into my left shoulder.

Despite the enhanced anger that consistently bubbled inside my mind, a sense of admiration couldn't help but enter through my head.

I wasn't used to fighting wolves that equaled out my strength. Back in Raven Thorne, I was the largest and most likely skilled wolf in the entire pack due to private training and work out sessions. Plus, the strength of an alpha ran through my blood, which meant I was born stronger than normal wolves.

I suppose it wouldn't be a surprise that Clinton was the same as me, through size or technique. He had Alpha Vermont's blood running through his veins after all.

Either way, my wolf couldn't help but feel dominated by his, so it refused to back down from a fight.

I was pinned down between his sharp claws, which irritated me to no end. With a swift kick, my back paws lifted and collided with his chest, shoving him off me during the process. The pained whimper he let out as my nails sank into his meat was sadistically satisfying to my ears.
