2. Surprise

I was on my computer doing homework while being in a VC with Applepie. He was streaming his Minecraft game for me to watch meanwhile.

"How's math going?" He asked in his usual monotone voice. "Good. Careful with the cat" I mumbled in my headset while looking at my second screen, watching him tame it. "I like cats" I bluntly stated, looking back at my homework. "Same" he answered.

"I am almost finished, want to play Phasmo afterwards?" I asked while playing with my pen. "Sure, did you level up?" "A little. But I saved some money for equipment" he just hummed and I saw on the screen how he switched games. I smiled slightly and started the game too. "Sent you the code" "thanks." I copied it and joined his lobby.

"Hey Kenma?" I started. "Hm?" "Is it really okay for you that I'm in your group chat? I can leave it anytime" I said while filling up our inventory.

"I don't know. It's fine I guess" I giggled "Are you sad you need to share me now?" I teased, gaining a chuckle from him while he chose the mission. "Sharing? I never said I was sharing you" I laughed at his joke and pressed the ready button. "Nah but for real now, you okay?" "Yes. I just know how Kuroo will tease the shit out of me from now on" he sighed. I hummed and grabbed some flashlights and checked our Quests. "Because I am a female human being?" "Yah."

I laughed and walked into the house "I got EMF and UV with me. Looking for fingerprints now". "You said you're from Japan...right?" I smiled slightly "yes Kenma, I am literally speaking Japanese.". "Cool...cool" I sighed softly through my nose while searching our haunted house. "You never told me what school you go to. Only the name of your volleyball team." "Nekoma in Nerima" He bluntly said as he placed a book on the ground. "Oh-" I spammed my keyboard "he's haunting!!" I screeched while running to hide. "Oh fuck, already?" "Mhm". I hold my breath as I hid in the basement, hearing the ghost still haunt. "It's over" kenma sighed and I heard his keyboard tipping in the background "what proofs we got?" I asked while opening the journal.

"It's a Mimic" he just said and I groaned "if we play coop can we at least work together?" "Not my fault you're so slow". I  pouted and went back into the van "when can I watch you play?" "Next stream is tom-" "I mean volleyball." I cut him off.

I knew exactly when he was streaming.

"Never" he sounded amused. "Heeey! But I wanna seeeee" I whined. "No way. Worse enough that you're in all my streams" "well then you shouldn't have made me a mod!" I laughed out and I swear I could feel he was smiling.

"Gotta go to training now." "Alright. Have fun running around" I grinned as I heard him groan in the mic. "Uuuh that sound is HAWT" I teased. Silence.

"I hate you Yn" "naaah you love me." "No." "Mhm" "nah" "oh come on~ just a little tiny bit?" "Maybe." I gasped "really?" "Nah" I heard him chuckle.

"Imma talk to you later yn" "Bye Kenmaaaa" and with that he hung up.

I stared at the Discord call in which I was alone now and left it as well. I switched to the group chat and clicked on Hinatas user.

Yn:
You play volleyball too? Right?

Yes I do why?

Yn:
What team?

Hinata🤍:
Karasuno, why?

Yn:
Will you guys play against Nekoma soon?

Hinata🤍:
Actually we have a practice game against them this weekend, whyyy?

Yn:
At Nekoma or your school?
