Chapter Twenty Seven

♪───Ｏ（≧∇≦）Ｏ────♪

A sea of bustling attendees filled the grand auditorium of Star Candy Inc. The navy sound proof walls were decorated with large posters of the new product. Butter was a sensation even before it was launched all because of the buzz it created in the market. The attention garnered  and the reputation of the company brought in all the big shots of the techno world under the same roof. The invitees took their assigned seats with their eyes swimming in anticipation with hint of sceptisim for the smartphone that has been rumoured to be revolutionary in it's field.

Loud cheers and camera flashes welcomed the dashing and hot CEO on the stage, who demanded attention the moment he stepped his foot in. Taking the centre of the stage, Jungkook bowded to his audience. Feeling the white spotlight on him while looking at the auditorium flooded in darkness, Jungkook felt lonely and scared. Suddenly, he became hyper aware of the weight on his shoulders. Taking the cover of a warm smile, Jungkook took in deep breaths. It wasn't the time for him to give in to his anxious thoughts, he reminded himself. Amidst the turmoil in his head, Jungkook eyes landed on the only visible row to him from the stage.

He felt a rush of relief wash over him when he saw his support system, his hyungs, noona and Grandpa looking at him with warm smiles and prideful eyes. The burden on his shoulders lifted off the moment he made eye contact with them. At last, his eyes met the soulful, deep brown set of eyes. Jungkook would might as well say that those were one the most beautiful pair of eyes he ever laid his gaze on and also the pair of eyes he has been looking for since his advent in the spotlight.

His heart found it's peace. The cheerfully lit eyes and the wide smile plastered on Taehyung's made him realise the unconditional support he has from his family and friends. He knows that no matter what the consequences, his people have always got his back. The thought washed off all his anxieties away and he felt a strong surge of confidence flowing through his veins. But, what made him almost burst out laughing was the sudden change in Taehyung's demeanor. Taehyung's eyes held childlike wonder as the hands flew in the air to give him two over the top thumbs up, accompanied with an overjoyed mouthing of 'All the Best' at him. With a silly smile, Jungkook addressed the auditorium, "Evening Dear Guests..."  

Switching in between different presenters, the 40 min presentation came to an end with Jungkook's ending note, "We here at Star Candy are really excited for this new launch, Butter. I hope you all would give it as much as love as our past models. Lastly, thank you, everyone for attending the event." Jungkook bowded at the end of his speech to which he received loud praises and applauses from the audience.

Jeon Jungkook yet again stunned the entire world with his immaculate presentation and oratory skills. His charisma withheld the attention of the room for the entirety of the the presentation. Adding the fact that the phone's specification were really brilliant, the new product looked quite promising to the watchers. The live audience along with the online audience were definitely hooked. Over the loud excited gushes and hushes, Jungkook's voice boomed, "Now you may please follow our volunteers to the next venue. They'll take you for your first experience with the device."

At the announcement, the assigned volunteers wearing the company merch stood their hands up for everyone to recognise them. One by one, the rows empties the room, following the volunteers out of the auditorium, until only the senior management team and some of the other employees remained in the vacant room.

Turning the wireless microphone off, Jungkook descended the steps of the stage only to be engulfed in a huge group hug by his hyungs and noona.

"What was that Kook? Man! You killed it!" Hoseok cheered loud for his dear friend.
