Chapter Thirty Five

"SURPRISE!!!" Jungkook was met with loud cheers as soon as entered the penthouse and Jarvis turned the lights on. His giant living room was filled with people he knows so well. They all were holding big birthday banners, balloons and streamers. Some even had cut outs of his funny meme faces.

"Happy Birthday Jungkook-ah!" the crowd cheered bringing the shock stricken male back in the moment. If that was not enough to get him out of his shock, getting swarmed by his friends and cousins certainly did the trick.

"I hope you like the surprise party. We all planned it actually. Since most of your friends and cousins were in town because of the wedding, we thought of setting this party up for you. Speaking of the wedding, there's someone who is eager to talk to you." Taehyung spoke once the crowd was done with their greetings and had moved away from them.

Not letting Jungkook to register his words, Taehyung handed his phone to Jungkook. "Hey! Kookie!" Jungkook looked down at the phone when he heard his brother's voice, only to be greeted by his Hyung's face.

"Kookie! Happy Birthday my lil Bro! Sorry hyung wasn't able to wish you earlier. I wanted to surprise you." Seokjin wished his brother.

"Hyung! You forget me as soon as you got married. No phone calls, messages. Nothing! I see how it is... you love Namjoon hyung more now~" Jungkook fake cried to guilt trip his brother more. Of couse he held grudges against his dear brother who was enjoying his vacation, leaving a ton of work for him.

"Aww... Kookie! I'm sorry. I love you Kookie. Do you want Hyung to come back? Is the work too hard?" Jin asked feeling guilty. He was really ignoring his brother and he felt so bad because of it. There was only one person to blame for it who was looking at him from behind the phone, at the receival end of angry daggers.

"No hyung... I was just kidding. The company's all good don't worry and focus on your honeymoon. I've got it covered here! Oh... I see a beach behind... are you perhaps in Maldives?" Jungkook replied.

"Ddaeng! Sicily actually! It's a beautiful place Jungkook! You should come here sometime. Or maybe you should visit Venice... Taehyung would love Rome~" Jin wiggled his eyebrows suggestively.

Jungkook looked around to see if Taehyung heard him. But breathed in relief when he found Taehyung talking to some of his friends from college. "Hyung~ Stop teasing me! I shouldn't have told you anything!" He whined with puffed cheeks.

Jin laughed his windshield laughter before replying, "Anyways enjoy your party! The food's from my restaurant so expect greatness! Namjoon wants to wish you.." Jin then handed the phone to his husband.

"Hey Jungkook! Happy Birthday bro~" Namjoon greeted with his dimple smile but then the phone was snatched again by Jin.

"Thank you hyung." Jungkook replied chuckling at his brother's antics. "Anyways, Kookie enjoy your party but don't enjoy too much without me!" Jin muttered.

"Alright Hyung I'll do that..." Jungkook spoke thinking that maybe his brother is a bit tipsy.

"Oh... I'm really missing being there. I wish I could be in two places at once." Jin whined.

Namjoon then suddenly appeared in the frame. He then spoke in Jin's ear, a little too loudly for Jungkook to hear too, "Don't worry babe! I have something fun for planned tonight! You won't miss being at the party much~"

Jin's face turned red at the seductive words instantly. Jungkook quickly spoke up, "Alright Hyung, take care... I'll let you get back to your date! Bye!" and ended the call before things could get any more weird for him.
