Maze Of Memories

They say the past is the past but in a lot of cases, I would say no. The past is something that should be cherished and sometimes not to be looked back on. There is one memory that I especially hold close in my heart and of course it would have to do with Felix.

This happened three years ago when we were dating the first time around, not long before our relationship ended up in shambles. It was mid afternoon and I was sitting in the Kitchen at my parents house as I was still living with them at the time.

Me and Felix used to do study dates since back then we were still in high school and most of the time Felix did not want to be home so that was the best way to go.

His short brown hair was in his eyes slightly as he was looking at his phone looking for a good recipe to try since I was the one that cooks and he is the one that bakes it really does make a nice harmony between the two of us.

His shorter legs were spread out dangling over the edge as he was sitting on the counter top. His pretty brown eyes lit up in excitement as he looked up at me smiling " I found the perfect one." he showed me. I walked over to him looking at the recipe first then looked at him as his dark brown eyes were staring right in my eyes and seemingly into my soul.

"About that I didn't tell you the catch did I?" He shook his head as he puts his phone down and motioned me to come closer to me. as if I was charmed by him, I did what he asked me to do. He wraps his legs around my hips as he smiles. "You get to cook while I teach you"

He laughs as he kisses my neck lightly then pulls away slowly as he smirks like a little devil. This means that he is most likely up to something. "You'll need convincing first." and there it is.

I knew he was up to something, I ran my finger through his hair then whispered to him "It was your idea, so you shouldn't need convincing." I pulled away from him and picked up his phone looking at the ingredients that are needed and got them out of the fridge. I then pulled out the right pans from the cabinet below the sink area.

"Lix, come on." I patted his muscular thigh and he slid off of the countertop. "Okay now the first step is to do this" I walked up behind him with my body lightly pressed to his as I instructed him.

We were close like this until somefhing happened. While the chicken was baking in the oven, Felix wanted to make some brownies for us to eat.

While he had the mix made, he puts a little on his finger and comes over to me. "Oh Hyunjinie" He says in a sing song voice that sounded like it could be in a horror movie due to his deep voice.

"Yes Baby?" I knew what he was abiut to do, I have been watching him this whole time as he made them. He boops my nose getting the brownie mix on my nose. "Now Lix, didn't your mom teach you not to play with your food." I try my best not to laugh.

He smirks at me "Oh yeah? What are you going to do about it?" He says. Those are as if he wants the get dirty or something.

"Focus on cooking Felix" I laughed shaking my head. He's so cute when he is focused. He always either has his tounge out a little or tapping his finger lightly.

I sneaked a little bit of brownie mix on my finger and tapped it on his nose then on his cheek. His eyes brighten a little as he puts a little that was left over in the bowl on his lips. However he did this after he put them in the oven so that's a positive thing.

I was sitting on the edge of the countertop on my phone searching for cheap apartments for us to live in, but who would allow two 18 year old boys to live in their apartments. Then I have to consider safety.

He pulls me closer to him gently by my hips which caused me to turn off my phone and pay attention to him. "I want you to taste this." How? He doesn't have a-oh.

Before I could process fully, he kisses me gently with passion. I swiped my tounge quickly against his lower lip to get the chocolate off of his lip. He grips my hip a little as it must have felt good to him. He pulls away smirking and patted my head.

"Good job my love" He grins. Most of the time Felix didn't take the first initiative.

This is one memory I will hold close to my heart and not because of his sweet kisses. But because of the way that he made me feel at home. Because it was the first time we cooked together..like a married couple would.

Looking back on memories,most of them are good. I will admit that. Other than that one fight. I believed everything happens for a reason though.

There are memories that will forever be imprinted in your heart. Sometimes even just the smallest things matter. I remember we were in Junior year of High school back then.

Hyunjin and I always chose desks side by side when we had classes toether. We were so close to each other. I mean other than one class, we were always with each other.

Well it was in the middle of winter, not a snow day yet. Or so we thought. It was the end of the day and I was trying to finish reading a book that I found interesting. A smut part came up in the book which I didn't expect but I was still reading it anyways.

Hyunjin sneaks up behind me wrapping his arms around me. "Hey baby" He whispers in my ear. He kisses my ear and whispers "w
We can always recreate that scene" I looked up at him. He kisses me gently, rubbing my cheek lightly.

He pulls away slowly, making me want more "Let's go back to my house Lix. For studying." The window blinds were down as we were in the classroom alone other than the classroom teacher who had walked away temporarily.

We walked out of the classroom with our bags slinged over one shoulder. Small snowflakes began to fall as the ground was covered in white snow. No ice luckily or it would have been dangerous for him to drive.

We had an agreement, he drove me to school back to my house after we 'studied'. We figured it would be quicker to just do that rather than wasting gas and time.

Hyunjin looked around and then unzipped his jacket and opened it up then zipped me up in it as he had his arms out of the sockets of the jacket. The jacket rested on my shoulders even though he had his chin on my shoulder.

He closes his dark brown eyes just enjoying the peace. We stood there for a while just enjoying each other's company and watching our first snow together.
