Horror And Chilling

◆•Hyunjin's Pov •◆

It did sound tempting. I mean, Felix and I have never been to a movie theater together. We planned to go that weekend before that whole situation happened. We had it planned for that weekend. I still have that ticket, in a box under my bed of all the memories of us together.

Because when I would begin to miss Felix, I would pull out that box sitting on the floor going through each item as it all brought out a memory. I would sob in the floor because I knew that everything in the end got fucked. All because I chosen the wrong people to trust.

This would technically be our second date together again. I still remember the second date was when we were freshmans like it was yesterday.

It was at some restaurant and we were both so nervous but it ended up that we talked the night away at ease.

"Yeah sure." I walked out of the studio with him as we talked about our day. I drove over to the movie theater down the road following Felix's black car.

We both parked in the parking lot side by side, he walks over to me and holds out his hand for me to hold. I held his hand as he swipes his thumb back and forth in a soothing way.

We got up to the stand as they had a variety of movies to choose from. The smell of popcorn and sweets filled our noses. That nostalgic smell that everyone has one memory tied to it.

We ended up choosing a horror movie as it seemed to peak both of our intrests. It was a ghost horror movie. I didn't really know much about the movie but it was better than some. I don't really know his preference of movies.

We walked down the long corridor of steel doors as we searched for the number for the movie. Felix leads me to the door as he must have seen the number before I did. But I wasn't really looking for numbers either. I was studying Felix's excited face as his eyes were lit up in happiness.

I opened the door for him as he went through. We ended up picking a seat at rhe back of the theater so we could have privacy and see the movie better. There wasn't that many people here really as hardly any of the red seats were filled.

The lights began to dim as the movie started. I was half watching the movie while the other half I was watching him, making sure he wasn't scared or anything like that.

A part where the ghost started to become active came on the screen. He closes his eyes in fear as he quickly holds onto me squeezing my arm lightly.

I laid my arm around his broad shoulders as I rubbed his arm up and down trying to calm him down. "Lix, it's alright" I whispered to him.

"What if something comes out to get me or comes up behind me?" He looks up at me with his doe eyes. He is so innocent at times. I patted his head gently as I could feel his soft blonde hair.

•◇Felix's Pov ◇•

He kisses my forehead "Nothing is going to harm my Lix. You are precious to me." He pulls me close as he could to his side. "I'll protect you." I continue to watch the movie even though I want to chicken out but he did pay money for it.

I wrapped my arms around his waist as a jumpscare came on the screen. Hyunjin covers my eyes with one hand and one of my ears with the other. I will admit, the movie's special effects aren't as good as some that I've seen on Tik tok.

Hyunjin whispers to me "It's okay, the scary part is over" I release him from my probably death grip that I had on him. Time does fly by when I'm with him. Whether it's watching a drama together or just relaxing at home.

I just wish that I was thinking with my head back then befofe I made the biggest mistake of my life. This guy is probably the sweetest thing I have ever known and yet I walked out on him.

Emotions can reach someone quickly, but it's up to you rather or not to follow the head or your heart. He makes me feel so safe and loved. If the world were to end, I would want to spend the last day with him because then I would have no regrets or anything.

Those two hours of horror and jumpscares went by quickly as I was too busy watching Hyunjin more than anything else at this point.

He wraps his arm around my waist as we were walking out of the movie theater. His hand up against mine made me feel safe as if I could take on anything.

People would give strange looks here and there since in Korea, things like this aren't as acceptable as it woud be at a place like the USA. But I couldn't
