Waiting For A Miracle

               ◆•Hyunjin's Pov•◆

Minho and one of his colleagues comes in wearing their scrubs bringing Felix back in. My poor baby, he had a tube down his throat and another tube for something else.  I wanted to go over to him,hold his hand and speak to him. However I need answers first.

Minho glanced over at me smirking. He looked so professional with his light brown hair styled to the side and his doctors coat.

"Hwang Hyunjin, great to see you again. I mean obviously not in this situation but it's been since high school since we last saw each other. Even though we speak to each other to everyday. I know you probably have questions about your boyfriend, I'm sure. So ask away."

He grabbed a swivel stool and sits down on it as he looks at the chart that he grabbed off of the hospital bed.  "Okay, first question, what happened? No one will tell me zero around this place." I ran my fingers through my hair sorta frustrated at this point.

"Car crash. The police said it was a head on collision as a car hit his totalling both cars.  The other driver was asleep at the wheel presumably before the accident. They found Felix unconscious at the scene barely alive."

Shit this is bad. I swear if I had the right tools and didn't want jail time, I would hunt down that driver for hurting my angel. I mean come on people, you should know how to drive and not kill people almost.

"What is wrong with him and when will he wake up?" I asked his next since I couldn't wait any longer to find out. He seemed at peace though with his eyes closed.

Minho cracks his neck as his brown fluffy hair bounced a little. "A concussion for one thing most likely from hitting his head on the steering wheel. Stitches in different places due to glass from the windshield."

He flips through the file as he looked through the tests "He's in a coma for now. You know how this works,we never know when they wake up. If they do."

That's the one thing I like about Minho, he doesn't sugar coat things. He is straight to the point. But he knows he can be around me .

"We also had to break his finger. No clue on that one on how it happened.  It's been broken for a little while though. We had to because it was growing wrong and that would have resulted worse for him."

How did that happen? Felix hides so much from me with that beautiful smile. I just wish he wouldn't bare so much on his own.

Minho and I spoke for a little while longer about any questions I had. I never left that hospital bed as Matt brought me food and clean clothes. I took my baths in Felix's hospital room and did my work quietly in his room as well through zoom.

Things were normal for the most part, it comforted me hearing that beeping of the heart monitor. But seeing his face stone cold and just hurt in general pains me to see him like that. His stitches were eventually taken out and his bruises by his eyes slowly faded away. I wish days went by faster.

Everyday I would speak to him and held his hand making sure he still felt loved every hour.

                •◇Felix's Pov•◇

The last thing I remember is a driver crashing into me. I open my eyes to blinding bright lights. I blinked heavily a couple of times as I started to panic a little feeling a tube down my throat and nose.

I could hear a loud beeping noise from beside my ear. The pieces slowly connected. I'm at a hospital, my joints are so stiff for some reason. Hyunjin rushes over to the bedside from his chair as I could hear that he was crying.   His breathing was unsteady small gasps. He hollers for a nurse saying that I was finally awake.

What does he mean by finally awake? It's only been a couple of hours since the wreck right? A doctor comes in removing the equipment from my nose and throat. I slowly sat up looking around As Hyunjin places his hand on my back gently.

I was definitely stiff for sure but I'm just happy that I didn't get injured that badly. Hyunjin stares at me as I got up from the bed standing up and went over to where Hyunjin's chair was.

I kneeled down and kisses his forehead. "Baby don't cry. It's alright, I'm okay" Hyunjin's tears flowed down his face as he wrapped his arms around my waist pulling me lightly closer to him.

"I missed you so much Lix. Im so glad you made it" He says through short breaths as I stroke his hair. I normally don't see him this emotional. His brown hair is longer than when I saw him today.. Wait what?

How? "What did you mean you missed me?" I asked confused as he lets go of me and I sit down on the edge of the hospital bed. There must have been a reason to have that equipment hooked up to me.

"You were out for two months Felix. The doctor's didn't think you would make it out of this one. They don't know what caused the coma either"

He was here in this room the whole time? I thought I was just knocked unconscious, not in a coma. What all happened while I was out? Have I lost my job, I mean surely they wouldn't have kept me right?

"What about our jobs Hyunjin?" I'm worried about how we are going to keep the bills up and so forth.  There are better jobs that I could get, which is actually one of my plans so my schedule can line up closer to his.

"I was doing zoom classes in your hospital room and as for you, you were unfortunately let go. But don't worry about working for right now. I'm not hurting for money, I'm going to pay the rent as normal and I'll do the chores until you one hundred percent recover.  Just to be safe, no heavy stuff for a month. I'm not going in the studio either for that long to make sure you do. I'll be fine doing my work in the living room. My work doesn't care."

He is always been so extra careful with me. It's just the way Hyunjin has always been. "No jinie, I'm not going let you run yourself down because of me."

Hyunjin sighs getting up from his chair and shuts the hospital room door behind him as he left. Did I make him mad or something? I never ment to make him mad or anything like that, I couldn't see his emotions as he walked out of the room.

I could hear him talking to someone on the phone as he must be by the door. He walks back in sitting at the end of the hospital bed "I got you a job that requires to be near me alot"

How did he manage that? "Hm?" I asked him I was interested in this idea. He rubs his hand up and down my leg. His eyes are filled with happiness and excitement as he stares into my eyes.

"You are now my secretary."
