"You ready to go?" Dacre asked me from the bedroom. "Yeah!" I said. We walked to the lobby of the building and were notified that the driver was here for us. Dacre held the door open for me and held my hand as I bent down to get inside the car. He climbed in next to me, and the door was closed by the driver standing outside on the sidewalk.

He took off down the street as the thousands of city lights passed us by. We arrived at the red carpet for the awards and the doors opened almost immediately. Dacre's face was the first thing people saw when the door opened and he stepped out of the car, once again holding his hand out as he helped me out of the car and onto his level again.

We smiled and made our way down the carpet surrounded by fans, media, and cameras. It wasn't anything I was uncomfortable with at this point. I've done it so much that the yelling of the paparazzi and flashing lights don't make me dizzy or faint whenever I see them. "Dacre! Hallie! This way." different men with giant cameras shouted as we posed and smiled in all directions, taking a few seconds and then shifting to another angle. We finally made it to the first journalist who was waiting to interview us. "Hey guys! How are you this evening?" She asked holding the microphone up to us. I smiled, "Good." We both replied in unison. "That's good. You guys both look fantastic tonight can you tell me who dressed you guys?" She asked. I looked at Dacre because I wanted him to answer first. "Louis Vuitton for me and," He said, motioning to me to make me answer now. "Prada for me." I said, giving a soft smile. "Amazing. Okay so I have a couple questions for you both. I'll start with you Dacre, what was the change of scenery like for you moving from stranger things to the elvis movie?" She asked. "Uh, it was a good change of pace I think. I love getting to work with such amazing actors and getting to be back home in Australia. It was fantastic." He said. "Are you still living in Australia?" She asked. "Not full time, Me and Hallie actually are loving here in New York." He said. "Oh my gosh! Congrats to you too. This city is beautiful." She said. "It definitely is." Dacre said.

She moved the microphone over to me this time. I was never good with the questions they ask me out here because I was never prepared. Other interviews had prepared questions that I knew the answers to ahead of time. "So Hallie, I heard that recently you switched from wardrobe work to being a model. What inspired that change?" She asked. Uh, my breakup with Austin who's here in this same area as us. "Uhmm, I actually decided I needed a change of pace also about a year and a half ago and I got out of my lease in Los Angeles and moved to New York when I got an offer to work for a Modeling Agency here." I said. "I've just fallen in love with many things over here and decided this is where I needed to be." I added. She nodded, "I completely understand. Like I said this city is beautiful." She said. "Absolutely stunning." I said. "Well it was so glad to talk to you guys, I hope you guys have a great night." She said. I nodded, and we turned around and walked away.

We made our way into the building and found our seats at a table. Of course we were there for the elvis nominations so we had to sit at a table with the rest of the cast meaning Austin. Dacre pulled my chair out for me and I smiled and sat down. I was on my phone making an instagram post when I saw more chairs starting to fill in the building and at the table. Dacre's hand slid to my thigh, and that was my signal that Austin was in the vicinity. I looked up, almost frantically looking for him. We locked eyes and a small soft smile crept onto his lips before it's like he forced himself to wipe it away. Kaia following almost immediately behind him, like if she got too far she'd get lost. I looked back down at my phone.
