Onyx has been full of surprises for his mother this morning. First, he was rolling around the living room and giggling to himself. Then he drank an entire six ounce and and gnawed on plenty of baby puffs.
And now he's completely bright eyed at the Sesame Street event.
Onyx sees Yoongi from across the room and reaches for him. Harper looks to see what he's reaching for and isn't really surprised. Yoongi smiles as he takes him from his mother.
"Hey, little guy. How are you?" Yoongi looks at him. "Are you chilling today?"
Onyx lays his head on his shoulder as he sucks on his pacifier. Yoongi chuckles to himself and smiles. "Guess that's a yes."
"He just woke up from a nap so he's kind of out of it right now." Harper informs.
"That's okay." He holds the infant up. "Wanna go see Elmo?"
Onyx holds onto Yoongi's shirt and whines, pulling himself closer to the man. Yoongi laughs as he takes the hint and holds him back against his chest.
"I'm not giving you back yet. Sheesh. We're going to go see Elmo." He walk to a table with the puppet show and Onyx twists his face up at the moving creatures. His expression makes Yoongi laugh.
"It's okay. They're not going to hurt you." They're just moving around. They're harmless."
Harper watches from across the room as she bends to tie her shoe. She sees how comfortable Onyx is with Yoongi and how he smiles every time he looks at the man despite not liking to see the puppets. It's as if his smile is contagious enough for anybody around him to catch it.

After a few minutes of watching the puppet show, Yoongi realizes that Onyx does not care for it at all. He's much more interested in the balloons taped to the wall next to him.
He bats at them a and Yoongi laughs as he smacks them around.
"Hey, Dr. Min, is that you?"
Yoongi turns to see a familiar face. But the look of mild confusion is still seen on his own.
"My name's Avery. You did a seminar at my school a year ago about transitioning from medical school to working in a hospital."
"Oh! My god. Of course." Yoongi says as he remembers. "You're the med tech was graduating that year. How are you?" He asks with a smile on his face.
"I'm good, man. I'm great, actually. My girlfriend and I are moving to Missouri and I got hired at their top hospital. They maxed me out on my salary."
"What? That's huge. Congratulations!" Yoongi says, excitement clear on his face and in his tone.
"Thank you, thank you. I really wouldn't have been able to do it without you. You really inspired me that day. I got back to my dorm that night and talked to my girlfriend about everything. Everything you talked about, everything you said. We planned everything out to set up for our futures and our careers together. She's a nurse so she knows how hard medical school can get. She's proud of me. Her and our parents."
