Should I Call?

Rolling over in my bed the next morning I moaned feeling pain shooting through my head. I mentally kick myself for finishing that big glass of alcohol. Holding my hand over my eyes I heard my phone starting to ring so I answered it. "Hello...who is this..?"

I heard Chloe's voice practically screaming in my ears. "Did you call him yet!" Shifting to sit up against my pillow I rub the sleep from my eyes not understanding what she meant until I saw a note on my nightstand. Picking it up and holding my phone against my ear using my shoulder I opened it. "Here's my number if you want to see me again. I know I wanna see you - Luke." Reading the note over again it all came back of what happened last night. The memory of Luke giving me my first drink of alcohol and now this note.

"Call him Y/n. Call him!" Chloe cheered through the phone causing me to flop back against the pillows sighing at her excitement.

"Chloe, I can't call him. He probably didn't mean to put the note under the glass. Or he's already driving to another state to prefom for the tour. Or he's already got a girl or two on his arm. There's no point-" If she could slap ne through the phone I bet she would in this moment.

"I say this with love bestie but...he wouldn't have given you his freaking PHONE number if it didn't mean anything!" She started shouting through the phone so I turned her on speaker before she blew out my hearing. Getting out of the bed I started pacing in front of my bed back and forth in thought.

Luke and I are complete opposites. He adores the spotlight, girls wanting him and people enjoying his music. And I am shy girl who probably wouldn't make it through a day by his side. I'd like to believe my best friend but this isn't a movie or a fairytale book. Some things just remain like crazy fantasies. Throwing my head back I spun around on my feet almost falling on my butt at her next words. "I'm coming over immediately. We've gotta call that cowboy." She hangs up before I had the chance to say no.

Only an hour later she made her way through my front door of my apartment. I sit down my cup of coffee laying my head on the table still feeling the effects of this hangover. "Chloe...I already told you...he's out of my league." She threw her coat on a chair heading into another room until I realized what direction she went. Which was my room where both the paper and my phone were still at.

"Chloe..." I called out in a warning when she didn't come out right away. A few seconds later she skipped into the room typing away on my phone. Slapping a hand to my forehead I forgot she knew the password into my phone. Now I'm gonna have to change it after this.

"So Y/n who should we call. Your mom, your cousin or...oh here's an idea I just typed in the number for Luke Bryan. Let's call him he's a celebrity." She tapped her finger on her chin waving around the phone with a smirk on her face.

I try moving towards her but she raced off the opposite direction clutching my phone to her chest giggling. "Chloe no. Chloe...give me my phone right now!" I hollered chasing after her through the small apartment. She climbed over the couch but I instantly tripped over the armchair leg falling on the floor. Lifting myself up on my hands she showed me the screen where I threatened using her full name. "Chloe Rose Blake, don't you dare call him!"

"You'll thank me later." She simply replied pressing the green button where the phone starts ringing through the house. Forcing myself to my feet I grabbed her wrist trying to grab the phone from her still. She grunted and we ended up fighting for it on the floor. She shoved me on my back when we heard someone speaking on the other end.

"Hello, who is this?" Luke's phone came through. I try smacking the phone from her hand but she shoved her hand over my mouth holding me on the floor with her legs. "

"This is Y/n's best friend Chloe. She's the one you gave a margarita to last night because it was her 21st birthday."

He replied as I try pushing her off but she has a tight grip on me. "It's nice to meet you, Chloe. Can I talk to Y/n?"

She glared down at me on the ground whispering under her breath handing me the phone. "Ask him out or I'll drive away with your phone and do it myself."

Turning the phone off speaker I pressed it to my ear feeling my heart beating faster than earlier. Running my freehand through my hair I stuttered out. "Hi...uh Luke. Sorry about Chloe she stole my phone...you're probably busy so I'll let you go.."

He responded before I could try and hang up on him. "I'm not busy darlin'. Say would you and Chloe want to hang out with me and tour crew at this cabin party tomorrow night?"

Chloe shouted jumping up in the air in pure excitement. "Hell yes!"

Covering the speaker on my phone I scolded her. "You don't even know what he asked me yet!"

She throws her arms up scowling at me. "It doesn't matter. Anything with Bryan is gonna be awesome. What kind of super fan are you anyway?"

Rolling my eyes I cleared my throat finally giving him an answer to his suggestion. "Sure we'd like to." He sounds like he is smiling through the phone before he has to hang up.

"Sweet I'll text you the address. I have to go my managers here. Bye Y/n. Oh and tell Chloe I said bye to her too." Locking my phone I immediately squealed jumping around with my friend.

"We're going to hang out with Luke Bryan!"
