"I SWEAR! I AM SO MAD RIGHT NOW!" Tasha blurts the moment we get out of Sebastian's unit.
It's already 3 am and we just finished binge drinking, eating the whole box of glazed chicken we ordered, potato balls that we popped in the microwave, bags of truffle chips, and rewatching Breaking Bad.
Sebastian offered his bedroom for the night so we can rest before going home in the morning—we always do that when we're all tipsy, but today is an exception, Calvin and I refused since we weren't drunk, only Tasha. She's damn well knocked off.
"WHY WOULD HE DO THAT TO MY BEST FRIEND? HUH? WHY? HE'S SO OBNOXIOUS!" She screams, pointing her index finger everywhere.
Calvin laughs while trying to steady her by holding both of her shoulders so she wouldn't fall on the floor.
"Uh-oh. I thought she's already moved on from that topic."
Tasha had given up asking Sebastian questions when he came after her favorite combo; crisps and beer.
"She's going to chase Sebastian to the depths of the earth until she gets her answer," Calvin remarks, shaking his head.
"WHAT? WHAT ARE YOU SAYING?" Tasha again, trying to open up her eyes.
We're walking towards Calvin's car.
When you leave Sebastian's unit, there's a hallway that will lead you straight to a parking area dedicated to him alone. Yup, he has his own space for all of his mega-expensive cars.
"Since we're on that, I'm curious to know... didn't Sebastian mention any of those to you? I mean, he would be very much open with you since you're the guy and we're the girls."
I know they're having a 'boys night out' too like we're having a 'girls night out' once in a while and it's not a bad thing.
"Sebastian has never been open about his dating life, you know that." Calvin quickly responds.
"Yeah..." I murmur.
He was right.
Sebastian never denies and never confirms. He will always leave you hanging and on the edge.
"He's a public figure but somehow he manages to keep some parts of his life very very very private that even the closest people in his life are clueless."
I give him a feeble smile. "I'm kind of relieved he's doing that."
"Why's that?"
"He's been in the limelight for half of his life. He deserves to have something for himself to gate-keep."
"I'm the one who's curious now..."
"HUH? CURIOUS? WHO? ARGH! IT'S SO HOT! WHY IS IT SO HOT?"
"C'mon, Tasha! Just keep walking, alright?" Calvin, trying to keep his composure and not give Tasha a pep-talk about knowing one's alcohol tolerance.
He turns to me again, "Anyway, I wanted to know how you felt when Sebastian said he only mentioned having a special someone as a marketing stint for his comeback and when he completely shut off Tasha's question."
"I believe him. I don't want to start putting words into his mouth but I'll be honest, I'm kind of overthinking lately and I hate it." I answer with conviction.
When we reach his car, I immediately open the backseat door so he can get Tasha inside.
Calvin fastens her seatbelt. "Don't even dare to throw up," He mumbles to Tasha whose eyes were already closed.
I giggle. "Ask her to have your car cleaned tomorrow if she ever does that."
"Nope. I don't want to see her for a month when she does that."
