"Wha... Wha—"

I couldn't seem to speak.

Let's start living under the same roof.

The words kept lingering in my mind.

I didn't think of Sebastian asking me to move in with him, it was never even in my wildest dreams.

I'm 30 years old, and this age is the average at which women get married in this generation.

I should be settled by now and planning to start a family, making little Ashleys who would run around our house and would go to church with their grandparents every Sunday.

I wonder what names should I give to my children and how many am I having? I might be a newbie in the game of dating and throughout the years, I was okay being alone, not experiencing engagements and a wedding but there are also times that I aspire to become a good parent.

Wait...

He only asked me to share the same place with him and I was thinking about getting married and having a family.

Gosh, pull yourself together, Ashley Ahn. This isn't the right time to zone out.

Sebastian briskly stands up, probably after realizing that I'm having a panic attack and my head's about to get short-circuited.

He hugs me from the back. "It was just a suggestion. I mean, instead of spending the night in each other's place, I thought of having a space where I'd see your face every time I come home." He gently explains but with excitement in his eyes.

How can I turn him down when he's exhilarating?

He has a point though, we've been sleeping together either in my apartment or in Le Bale so the other one gets vacant most of the time and in reality, we're wasting our resources.

Well, it only applies to me because he sure as hell doesn't mind.

It's funny how Sebastian wants to see me after a long day at work that's why he thought about it while I was thinking of saving up.

I mean, I don't only get to live with him under the same roof, but I also have someone to pay the bills with.

It's a win-win for me. Haha!

Gosh.

If I could only smack both of my cheeks right now.

If truth be told, it's expensive being in the CBD, what more living alone.

Half of what I earn from work is allotted to the statements that come into my mail every first week of the month; electricity, internet connection, water, apartment rental, and groceries.

I'm just grateful that I'm rightly compensated in Kingdom Entertainment and it matches my means because if not, I won't last long in the concrete jungle.

I turn around to face him. "Let's do it,"

"REALLY?" His eyes widen like a saucer and his lips slowly turn into a smile that's molar to molar.

I repeatedly nod while smiling to convince him.

He pulls me into a tight hug.

"There's no turning back. You're one hundred percent sure, right?"
