"I don't think being here is a good idea. There's a lot of people with keen eyes who can easily recognize my identity." I reluctantly say to CEO Park.
"Ashley, if we try to hide you every time, they would only suspect things that aren't even on the table for discussion to begin with."
I draw a sharp breath. If I could only evaporate right now. Oh, I wish I could. "I'm not feeling this day at all. It's either someone's gonna mess with me or I'm messing up the whole event."
It's Friday and CEO Park decided to bring me in Sebastian's guesting on one of the leading talk shows on national TV, Talking Hero where they invite business moguls, agency CEOs, up-and-coming actors and actresses, and A-list celebrities.
If I know, he only brought me here because Gwen is not around and the only one who's available to accompany Sebastian is his rookie Road Manager, Tami who still needs time to grasp the nitty-gritty of working closely with him.
Gwen has an emergency at home that she needs to attend to and she's not the kind of who misses Sebastian's schedules so CEO Park must have given her the go-signal to take a leave.
"Just don't leave my side and you'll be fine. This will only take less than an hour, let's enjoy the show." CEO Park reassuringly says before walking to where the Director is.
Sebastian is already settled on the stage, sitting on a single sofa chair while reviewing the script.
He looks so dazzling and chic from afar, wearing a Chanel off-white cardigan underneath a pinkish button-down polo shirt paired with khaki slim-fit slacks and white sneakers.
I can't believe this man belongs to my heart. I can't imagine myself getting enough of him, may it be a sweet night or a bickering day.
He looks up, gazing at me. "I love you!" He mouths while showing his gummy smile.

WHAT THE FORK?
I look around the place to check if anyone sees it.
Gosh, Sebastian is giving me life but he's gonna be the death of me too.
Hah, thankfully, none, the crew and staff are all busy preparing before the program airs.
I raise my fist and energetically mumbles, "Fighting!"
The studio where we will be broadcasting the program is located at Sound Music Inc. Main Office—the producer of the show—which is a 5-minute drive from KE HQ.
"Sometimes, I just want to disappear in thin air and disregard all the news surrounding Kingdom and its artists." CEO Park reappears beside me, suddenly complaining.
"Why? What happened?" I ask, frowning.
He hands me his phone.
