"Wah, would it still be the same if we start settling down?" Calvin says after chugging a can of beer.

"You know where to find me and Ashley, our doors are always open for you guys," Sebastian answers as he reaches for my hand.

We're in the front yard, sitting in separate reclining folding chairs with blankets to cover ourselves from the cold night breeze.

We're facing the beach, looking at each other and nothingness as we talk about our lives and random stuff about work.

It's as if we're on the last day of a variety show shoot where the staff would give you nice food and a lot of time to contemplate.

"Just buy us the damn land! Somewhere near here would be fine, hmm?" Tasha flashes a puppy-eye look to Sebastian.

"Hahaha! If you reach forty and you're still single, he'd probably give you a building in Gangnam District." I butt in, adding more fuel to the fire.

"Right, I would reconsider," Sebastian responds, chuckling.

"What about me, then?" Calvin complains.

"Yah, if you're that eager to be a realty owner, marry an heiress—no, just someone rich enough to write her properties under your name is enough." Sebastian annoyingly suggests.

"Dude, you're so old-fashioned."

"Then marry someone crazy enough to make it happen,"

"I know someone crazy," I mutter as I glance at Tasha who's sitting beside me, only to be glared at.

(ㆆ ᴗ ㆆ)

She's so feisty! I'm not even saying anything but she's already pissed off.

I thought Calvin doesn't bother her at all, then why is she acting like the only topic I could think to talk about is Calvin and his new girlfriend?

"Jen's gonna make it, she's gonna be the breadwinner in our relationship," Calvin says, laughing.

Oh, the name's Jen.

"I'm curious, how did you know that it's time to take a moment and be serious in a relationship?" I ask, still trying to get bits of details on why he doesn't look at Tasha as a woman he can potentially fall for.

"Hmm, she's different from any other woman I've dated. She's true to herself, she says what she wants to, she's extremely independent, and she's not trying to be someone else to impress me but that attitude made me impressed by her in return."

Those are Tasha's characteristics too.

"Wait, changing the topic—Sebastian, are you planning to tour the world again or is this going to be a stand-alone concert just to celebrate your 15 years in the industry?" Tasha hastily questions, shifting our attention back to Sebastian.

Is she hurt to hear those sincere words from Calvin; talking about someone else?

I feel like I need to do something for her because I know she wouldn't do anything about it. She would just let everything pass until it no longer affects her.

Believe me, Tasha's even more hardheaded than I already am.

Sebastian turns to me. "Should I?"

(⊙_☉)

"Uhm, why are you asking me?"

"It's just that... the way you give me advice on what should I do next is much more reassuring than what anyone else says..."

I cackle. "Yah, it's not something I want to be a part of to help you decide. It's a huge one. I can only take on the Award shows and local performances."
