The Kantou region once was divided into two parts, the east and the west.
In the west, Arashi Keizo who was also known as RedCliff led a gang named 'Ragnarok' with 600 members.
While in the east, twelve gangs merged together to form 'Koudou Rengou' which was led by Imaushi Wakasa also known as White Leopard.
These two gangs were against each other, but during this ongoing feud someone stepped in and managed to combine these two gangs into one and created not only a new gang but also started a new era for delinquents.
The gang was named Black Dragon, the man who was able to befriend the former leaders of the east and west was Shinichiro Sano who was later known as 'TheWeak King'.

Though, Shinichiro was weak his charisma drew people in, many delinquent admired him and respected him regardless.
Shinichiro contributed a lot, which means that even though he was dead during the TR series; he was connected to it's different arc's in one way or another.
He is also a Time Leaper like Takemichi, which automatically makes him very important.
That's why in order to change the plot I would need to be close to him and fix the mistakes he unknowingly made.
Like when Izana asked to lead the Black Dragon he told him to later pass it down to Mikey; Izana became jealous and his hatred grew towards Mikey, so he corrupted the gang.
Thus, the 8th generation of Black Dragon were involved in many crimes.
The motto that the the original Black Dragon stood on was destroyed.
Izana then passed the gang down to Shion Madarame who was a member of the S62 generation that Izana created while he was in juvenile detention center.
The S62 generation consisted of six members who were all born in 1987-1988.
The Haitani Brothers,Ran and Rindo who would control Roppongi. Ran was one of the Four Heavenly Kings in Tenjiku.
Shion Madarame the leader of the 9th generation of Black Dragon. He was also included in the Four Heavenly Kings in Tenjiku.
Kanji Mochizuki who was called a 'Gorilla' by Chifuyu for his strength, he was also part of Four Heavenly Kings in Tenjiku.
Yasuhiro Muto, who was the 5th division captain of Toman was also a member of the S62 generation.
