Sano Manjiro believed that he was strong, stronger than most, and no one ever truly bested him in a fight, he was a tough one to be brought down.

Yet, here he was sprawled on the hospital floor as someone had hit from behind, making him lose control of his own feet and fall flat on his face.

"Ah Shit!" A young feminine voice cursed.

"What the hell!" He shouted.

Was he just knocked down by a little girl? Oh wait, he was little too- he realised, still not fully used to being a child again.

It has been only recently that he was thrown back in time with Takemitchy. It was so surreal to see his once family members alive. He doesn't know how Takemitchy can endure for so long in the past, seeing the faces of his once dead friends and girlfriend alive and well.

He guessed Takemitchy wasn't too bothered by it as he had experienced it countless times. But he hasn't, it's so difficult for him to look those who died in their eyes and hold a conversation with them. Their touch and voice would make him flinch every now and then.

Everyday when he went to bed he would think it was all a dream and he'd wake up and face the consequences of his actions.

But in the morning he would wake up and frantically check to see if he was still here in the past- now his present.

On the first two-three days he would wake up due to nightmares relating to the past- his past future, about being unable to protect people he loved and even stabbing Takemitchy.

After waking up he would run to the dining hall to confirm his siblings are alive and well, preparing to eat brakefast.

Emma exclaimed he was a imposter posing as her brother, as the world would turn upside down and he wouldn't wake up early.

He thought she wasn't exactly wrong, he wasn't the brother she knew. And to some extent she wasn't the sister he was familiar with.

The Emma he knew was fourteen, liked to go shopping, cooked for him, scolded him and would  plot different ways to woo Draken.

The Emma now was much younger, spending her time playing around with toys in her room, practice basics at the dojo, she didn't know how to cook yet and she didn't know Draken.

Even he hadn't met Draken yet, they met in the year 2000. He doesn't know if he could face him, after losing Emma their relationship suffered. Even though they never broke off their friendship he deliberately drifted apart from him. And the next thing he knew, Draken passed away to join his sister in heaven.

He shook his head lightly, to get rid of his progressively downward spiralling thoughts.

He sat up once the girl had rolled over to the side from top of him. He looked at her and the first thing he noticed was her hair.
