My own Room

We soon pulled into the private parking lot of the casino, He led us back to the house and had me follow him down the hall past the bathroom. A few doors down he opens a door and lets me look inside. "This will be your room'' I step in and my eyes go wide as I look in.

Just looking into the room I get the feeling of an ultra-cozy room thanks to wood-clad walls, ceiling, a stone fireplace, exposed beams and wood timber lining the walls. I slowly took a few steps into the room looking around at everything, the giant king-size bed was what got me the most excited.

"A-all this is for me?" I was dumbfounded at it all.

"Yes, we can redecorate if you wish," He said leaning on the door frame.

"No, I love it, THANK YOU!!" I rush to him and jump into his arms hugging him feeling more tears fill my eyes.

"My room is right across the hall so if you need anything please don't hesitate to ask.'' He said cupping my cheek and rubbing the tears from my good eye.

He held me tight before letting me go and I rushed jumping into the metal frame bed making it squeak a little, the bed felt like a cloud hugging me. My excitement made him chuckle. Soon he brings the last of my things into the room "get unpacked and the game starts at 7 pm we'll be having dinner at 6'' He said before leaving. I gather all the bags on my bed and dump them all out, grabbing the trash can and putting it next to me.

I begin to take the tags off as I already tried it all on at the shops, then fold each item and make piles, one for t-shirts, tanks, pants, shorts, bras, underwear and socks. Once I finished folding I opened the dresser at the foot of my bed and began to put things away nicely with bras, underwear and socks on the top. The second one gets my t-shirts and pants, the third gets my tank tops and shorts.

I was proud I got it all done on my own as I took my new shoes out of the boxes and placed them by the door, I jumped back onto my bed and took out my new phone. I get the charging block and cable out before putting it together, I search the room for an outlet when I follow the lamp cord to one and plug it in. The lady at the phone store was kind enough to put the sim card in for us. I did struggle to get the phone case on but I was able to get it, the case had rubber edges in case of drops and it was waterproof.

I locate the power button and turn it on. I was amazed at this screen and the pretty colours and it asked me for information so I did my best to put in what I had and knew. I made myself an email account knowing it was important to have anything online, I saved the password and the email on a sticky note that was on the nightstand. It asked for wifi so I got to my feet and walked as I didn't know where he was in the house. I take the elevator down to the lobby.

When walking around the casino I soon bumped into Ren turning a corner. "Oh so sorry Skylar, you ok?" He asked me.

"Yeah I'm ok, have you seen Judas? I need the wifi password. And his number for emergencies'' I hold up the phone and he takes it from me.

"I know both so I can put them in for you sweetheart. I'll put my number in too so if he's busy you can contact me for anything.'' He said as he types getting everything into the phone.

"Thank you Ren" I give a smile while looking up at him.

"Not a problem at all, anything for my new favourite niece in the world.'' He said, handing my phone back and petting my head. "Back to work for me, so need anything I'll be in the main casino room.'' He said before heading back to work.
