I walk into the shower and turn it on, nearly screaming as the cold water hits my body, slowly the water gets warm and I just stand there letting it run down my body. I grabbed his body wash that smelled nice and put it on a loofah that was hanging on a hook, lathered it in my hands as I scrub from my neck and face to my feet.

I wash my face, cleaning the loofah out of soap. I hang it back up on the hook. I make sure I soak my hair under the running water before grabbing the shampoo and putting a lot in giving my scalp a scrub. I just stood there letting the hot water wash away my problems. The orphanage only had ice-cold water so a real hot shower was needed. I was in the shower for an hour so I turned the water off and got out, grabbed a black towel off the rack and started to dry myself off.

I looked and a small white bag was by the door where my dirty clothes were, walked over and picked up the note "your clothes are still in the wash so wear these, for now, Judas" I smiled as I pulled out an XL t-shirt and some boxers. Putting the boxers on which were way too big for me, I looked through the cabinet and found a hair tie pulling the boxers to fit snugly on my waist. I pull the shirt over my head and go to the mirror to look at the scar.

I found the hairdryer off the counter and plugged it in to dry my hair using a brush. I make sure most of my hair is dry letting it fall freely. Cracking the door open a little bit, taking a peek before walking out leaving the door open to let the hot air out. My nose picks up the smell of food and so I follow the scent to the kitchen where I see Judas in an apron cooking food. I hide behind the Island watching him cook as my stomach makes a loud growl noise to tell me I was hungry.

"How was the shower, Skylar?" He asked not to turn to look at me.

"Amazing thank you again I never felt so clean before, and thank you for the clothes.'' I smile as I climb onto one of the stools.

"Not a problem, you need them more than I do right now" He chuckled.

He turns around with two plates of food and his eyes go wide looking at me, I give him a confused smile as to why he's giving me that look. He set the plates down and walked around the island to me cupping my face in his hands and making me look at him. I can see tears filling his eyes as he looks at my face, I place a hand on his looking at him concerned as to what's happening.

"You do look so much like her." He said, the tears falling down his cheeks.

"Like who?" I asked as I saw him fall to his knees.

"My daughter'' He pulled me into his arms and hugged me. "I lost her 10 years ago with my wife to a gang attack.''

My eyes filled with tears hearing this I thought my life was hard losing his wife and daughter must be the hardest. "I'm so sorry for your loss'' I wrapped my arms around his neck hugging him.

"There are a few differences: her skin was a little darker and her hair was more of a dark brown and had more curl to it but other than that you are a spitting image of her. She had her mother's eyes and hair colour, I know this is a lot to take in but I'll be the father figure you deserve.'' He said.

I looked around as I was thinking and spotted a picture on the fridge struggling to see it fully as my vision was coming and going, he noticed my struggle to see it and got up taking it off and handing it to me. I looked and he was right. She could almost be my twin sister with darker skin a slightly lighter shade than Judas's skin tone. His wife was very beautiful as well, having yellow eyes like me. I think about it for a while looking at the photo and then back up at him.

"I'd be happy to stay, it may take a while to get used to all of this so give me time," I said with a smile.
