What did he say?

After 10 minutes we all place our orders and they all begin to talk to one another. Kai relaxed and started to chat with them all. I just kept quiet and scrolled my phone leaning back in the booth. I get the feeling of eyes on me so I look around. I soon found the guy named Antoine was looking at me.

I just looked away from him and back to my phone, Eros nudged my arm looking at me. "Hey, how about singing us a song?" He smiles down at me.

"No not gonna happen, that photo shoot took all the energy out of me." I look at him from the top of the sunglasses.

"Come on please for me." He took my shoulder shaking me.

"No, that mermaid tail thing was like 40 some odd pounds and so hard to move around in so no. Maybe another time but not now and you can come over to my shows to hear me sing." I go back to my phone.

"Mermaid tail?" Antoine said in a questioning tone.

"I got photos of it I can show you," Eros said, getting his phone out.

"NO those aren't edited." I grab his phone, holding it away from him. He tried to grab it back so I put it where he wouldn't try to go for it. I shove it down my top into my chest as I grin at him.

"No fare Skylar." He said clearly defeated.

"This is what you get for sneaking photos of me when I'm working and you know I hate the unedited pictures of me. You can show the edited ones when I get them." I raise my brow at him.

"Fine deal, so can I have my phone back?" He offers his hand to get his phone back.

"After I delete those pictures." I pull the phone out and unlock it with no problem as I go to the gallery and delete all the pictures he took of me. "There, all done." I passed the phone back.

We talk for a while longer as our food arrives at the table and we all dig in. I kept having the feeling of eyes on me but I just ignored the feeling and kept eating. One of the others pointed out my sunglasses.

"My eyes are rather sensitive to light sometimes so I wear them so I don't get headaches." We all soon finish and I can tell Kai is a little drunk, so the others slide out of the booth and I help Kai to stand. "Good night everyone should get my brother home." I smile holding Kai by the waist.

"Are you sure you don't need help Sky?" Eros asked.

"Yeah I got him, I may be small but I'm not weak. See you later Eros." I wave bye with one hand as I turn and walk to the exit.

I struggled to walk him back as he was so much taller standing at 6'5". It didn't help that he's built like a tank, just a wall of muscle. I make it to my car and I get him in the back seat so he can lay down. I go to the driver's side door when someone pushes the door closed. I turn around seeing a group of three men grinning down at me.

"Hey, cutie how about coming with us for the night, bet the three of us can give you a fun time." The one in the middle said getting closer.

"Not interested, now leave me alone." I grab a hold of my switchblade in my pocket.

"Awe kitty thinks she has a say in the matter, that's cute." He said before grabbing my throat, I was about to cut the guy when I spotted a tall person walking up behind them.

They grabbed one man by the neck and picked him up like he was nothing. "We have a problem over here gentlemen?"

The guys turn around looking up at the guy and all shake their heads no. "Well if that's it then leaves my friend alone." The guy let go of my throat so he let go of the guys and they all made a run for it.

I watch them all runaway, "You ok Skylar?" His voice came, making me look at him.

He stepped closer and into the small amount of light and it was Antoine. "Yeah I'm fine I had it all under control. I didn't need help but thanks anyway, now I have to go home." I was annoyed that he thought I needed help. I go to open the door but he slams it closed.

"You really wanna get mad at the guy that saved you." I feel him get close and whisper into my ear.
