I go back up to my room and plug my phone in as I notice the battery was at 17%, after that, I go back downstairs just to walk around. I wanted to get used to living here so I should learn the layout of the building. I exit out into the lobby and go to the front desk letting them know I'm gonna walk around. I give them a smile and a wave before walking over to the large casino floor. I just peek inside seeing people at tables playing cards and others at machines. The doorman said I can go in just to not disturb anyone.
I hold my own hands as I walk inside just slowly walking around. I sometimes watch people playing at the card tables. I was gonna leave when a lady placed a hand on my shoulder, having me come closer. I do as she asked standing next to the table as I blush out of nervousness.
"You look like you could be a good luck charm sweetheart," She said, patting my head.
I say nothing as I just watch the dealer hand out the cards. She would ask if she should get another card so I nod yes. She asked again and I thought with my gut so I said one more and she went for it. She won the game and hugged me close as she was excited. I feel a large hand on my shoulder and I look up to see Ren there smiling at me.
"Judas wants to give you the grade tour of the place so follow me." He tells me.
I follow him to I'm guessing Judas's office and let me inside. I was amazed at how extravagant his office was compared to his house. He gets up from his seat sporting a green and black suit. He takes me by the hand and shows me all around the casino from the gambler's room to a restaurant and showroom.
They even had a pool. Judas said I can use it as much as I want whenever I want. The pool was heated as it contended and extended outside so you could swim in the dead of winter and not get cold. I was loving this so much more now.
There were some areas of the Casino that he said I'm not allowed inside as those are 18+ only areas. I get the idea quickly, he is ok with me in the gambler's room just not there. Whenever we were running an employee he'd introduce them to me. Everyone was so kind and sweet. I did notice many had a similar tattoo to Judas that's just hidden under the collar of their shirts. When done with the tour we make it back to the lobby.
"The casino is amazing from the outside and inside. I have never seen a casino with its own pool that big before," I said with excitement.
"You are free to come and go as you please just be careful and let my employees know where you'll be. When you are settled in a little more you can roam the city but for now please stay close." He pets my head as we take the elevator.
"Judas my old friend there you are, did you forget our meeting today." A big man walks over pulling Judas into a big bear hug. I see he really didn't like it but smiles anyway. They let go and his eyes landed on me, "who's this little one?" He pats my head, messing up my hair.
"This is Skylar, my daughter." He replied and I gave a big smile.
Within a second he knelt down and picked me up, giving me a tight bear hug. I struggle to breathe so I ask "Judas help, I can't breathe too tight."
"Don't kill my daughter, she just got here," Judas shouts and he pries the guy's arms off me and I drop to the floor. I couch trying to breathe. Judas kneels down next to me making sure I'm alright.
"Sorry darling, I get too excited and forget my own strength." He chuckles.
"You know where my office is. I'll be there in a moment just showing her where everything is." Judas said, helping me to my feet.
We leave and get into the elevator and he takes us to the basement 1 as there were 3 basement levels but the other two you need clearance for. Then the doors opened to the largest game room ever, they had a pool table, skee ball, basketball hoops, and an extra-large tv with every gaming console ever made.
My eyes just widened at the sight hoping to play them all with friends and some of the employees later on. He took me to two large double doors which had to be the cherry on top. He even had a theatre room with 5 rows of couches on the sloped ground so everyone had a view.
"This is where we will be watching the game later tonight,'' Judas said then closed the door.
