Skylar's POV:
"You guys can wake the dead like damn. What was with the shouting?" I look up seeing Griffin having his winter jacket on.
"Why didn't you say you were gonna sleep here?" He asked, kinda breathing heavily.
"I tried but you were busy talking, I thought in a big room of people that someone would have seen me lay down here. Why, did you think I escaped or something? I have no clue where we are or how far the city is." I glare at him. Then it hit me how clueless they were, "HAHA also how use are you guys seeing dead bodies in stuff to NOT suspect the giant blue blob on the couch?"
He leaves guessing to take the jacket off. I just lay my head back down wanting to sleep some more but too tired to go up 2 flights of stairs. He walks around the couch and stands in front of me using his hand to motion for me to move. I refused as I was cozy where I was right now. This went on for a moment before he climbed the couch lifting my head and squeezing himself between me and the back of the couch. I inch down a little as now it was uncomfortable.
I was gonna move further down but he stops me and makes me lay my head on his lap. I went wide-eyed and froze in place not knowing what to do. But why right here, this was a giant 7-8 person U couch and yet he HAS to sit right there? He had the remote and turned the tv on, some of the crew said their goodbyes and headed out the door. Come join us on the couch to watch whatever he puts on the tv. He goes with some action movie and puts the remote down on my shoulder.
The guy with the red eyes walks over with two beers passing one to Griffin. He just lifts my legs and sits down placing my legs on his lap. Slowly over the movie, others leave the house to go visit family. Griffin, Jaxon the guy with red eyes and I were left on the couch. Griffin places his hand on my head and starts to scratch my head. I smile as it did feel really nice and soothing after what took place earlier. I fell asleep not long after he started.
I wake up a while later in the room under the covers, I slowly sit up looking around. I see I'm still fully dressed so I climb out of bed and take the bra off from under the shirt. My stomach growls since I didn't eat much at dinner. I drop the bra on the floor and try the door to see if it opens. It does so I was shocked, did they forget to lock it?
I took a peak in the hall and no one was around outside so I sneak to the stairs and go down. I make it to the foyer and look at the doors that lead to my freedom. I walk overreaching for the handle but stop as my fingertips touch the cold metal. I just turn and go to the kitchen and look through the cabinets for something. I found a bag of large tortillas.
"Hmm, leftover wraps sound good."
I go to the fridge and grab anything from the turkey, stuffing and some veggies. I begin to put everything into the wrap humming a tune.
