With nothing much to do as they sailed towards the island, Odette stood on the deck of the Jolly Roger, eyes focused on the sky as she tried to map the constellations she'd never seen before. They certainly were in a whole new world. "You know, I did a lot of reading about other worlds and lands. But Neverland was always so elusive. So little is known about it." Odette spoke, Regina glancing toward her at the interruption of the silence.

"Here's to hoping J.M. Barrie got some parts right at least." She replied with a sigh. Although, if there was one thing Regina had learned since casting the curse and coming to Storybrooke, it was that stories of their lives were very often more wrong than right. And Odette knew it as well.

"Maybe we'll-" Odette started to try and find some optimism in the whole thing, but she never got to finish what she was saying as the ship suddenly gave them all a violent shake, the blonde struggling to stay on her feet due to the surprise of it. "What the hell was that?!"

"What the hell are you two doing?!" Regina questioned as the two women climbed back to the quarterdeck where they found Snow and David holding on to the helm in an attempt to right the ship.

"Trying to keep it steady!" Snow responded, her knuckles turning white due to the tight grip as they struggled to calm the ship swinging along the waves. And even with both of them trying, they continued to struggle.

"She responds to Killian!" Odette called out, remembering what the pirate once said when describing his ship. Spelled to give trouble to anyone else who might attempt to control it, she recalled, eyes scanning around in search of the captain. "Where is he?"

"Right here." He announced his presence as he climbed up from below deck, Emma following after him, sword in hand as she made her way to the edge, looking to the waters below. Killian himself made his way to the helm, helping Snow and David control the ship and as soon as he grabbed hold of it, the task became easier. "Prepare for attack!"

"Be more specific." Regina requested, her tone sharp as she continued glancing back to the water in an attempt to distinguish what was doing this between the murky waves.

"If you've got a weapon, then grab it." He said simply, struggling to hold on to the helm as yet another slam shook the vessel. Odette grabbed on to some rope to keep from falling back before she became steady again, this time moving to the other side of the boat and glancing over the edge, wondering if a sword would actually be of use to fight whatever may be below them.

"What's out there? A shark? A whale?" Emma questioned over the sound of clashing that surrounded them, soon joined by an unfamiliar screeching none of them had the knowledge to place.

"A kraken?" David posed his own theories as he and Snow abandoned the helm to join their daughter's side, a lantern in his hand as he tried to spot something, anything, that he could fight.

"A crocodile?" Odette questioned, sharing a look with Regina who'd only minutes ago made reference to the children's book that was their only guide to this new place. Although she could remember Killian bestowing that nickname upon the Dark One, so she doubted it'd be that easy.
