Imani
Kaz was right when he said the journey was short, there was large black and gold gates leading into a large property. There were large lion statues on the side of the gates on top of a pillar. I rolled my eyes.
The gates opened and he drove up the long driveway. There was a large circular pond in the middle of the driveway. The house's exterior was nothing but elegant and well taken care of.
The roof was a dark gray tile, the color of the house being a white cream color, with too many fucking windows to count. The hedges outside were perfectly cut and the flowers were fresh even though it was slightly cold out.
Other cars pulled up behind us and began to park in the driveway. Kazimir turned off the car and I took off my seatbelt, opening the door. I got out the car and I gazed at the house. It was even prettier outside the car.
The doors opened and a blonde woman was the top. Kazimir had gotten out of the car and gotten next to me, but I watched the woman. She was quickly rushing out of the house and down the steps.
Her focus wasn't on me, but on Kazimir. She was squealing and she ran to him. He looked just as happy to see her and she almost tripped while running to him. He was able to catch her and embraced her.
I rolled my eyes and scowled. Should have dropped. I looked over at one of the cars and Megan getting out the car. I brought my attention back to her. I know Kaz did have an arrangement with some other woman, but why would he be happy to see her unless.
"She's my sister, L'vitsa," he laughs.
I stared at him, then at her. He finished my train of thought and now I felt embarrassed. She smiled at me.
"Anastasia, you are Imani?"
"I am, nice to meet you Anastasia."
I would have expected her to shake my hand, but instead she gave me a hug and kissed both of my cheeks. She pulled away, then Megan came over to us and they introduced themselves to each other.
Kaz takes my hand locking our fingers together pulling me along with him. I wanted to talk to Anastasia more, but I guess we would do that inside. He leans down to my air and a small shiver went down my back.
"You look sexy when you're jealous, L'vitsa."
There it was again, the little pet name. I guess now it doesn't matter were official. He was my boyfriend, so it would make sense if he called me that. Kazimir was my boyfriend now. I had a boyfriend. The thought never even seemed like a possibility.
We walked up the steps, when a woman who was much older, which I knew, had to be his mother. A woman with gray hair and dark brown streaks are held back in a bun. Pearls decorated her chest and diamond earrings covered her ears.
She had high cheekbones, Snow white skin, pink rosy lips, thin pencil drawn eyebrows and beautiful Hazel eyes. I see where he gets it from now. She wore a long elegant simple blue dress that touched the floor.
"Mother. This is Imani."
I smiled at her and I released Kazimir's hand to greet her. I gave her a hug and I gave her two kisses on the cheek just like Anastasia had. She smelled of perfume with a more stronger womanly scent that I couldn't place my finger on.
"Imani, it's nice to meet you dear," she smiles.
"It's nice to meet you as well, Kazimir speaks about you."
"Does he now?"
She looks at him with her eyebrows raised and with a smile of amusement. He takes my hand again and he pulls me into the house.
