Imani
I watched as Nikolai surveyed the Warehouse Juan had switched to. Nikolai already had a team watching the first Warehouse and making sure that nobody was watching it. He was prepping the explosives and having them installed in the first Warehouse.
The plan was for Kazimir to go to the first one and he would watch it blow up thinking I died in it. Juan and Jorge are obviously going to be alive, so he might believe it to be a set up. However, there might be a clash with him thinking I'm not dead.
To be honest, if he wonders if I'm still alive that would give me hope to hold onto us. Although, Nikolai won't allow him to hold onto that hope. He's making sure that I'm dead at all cost or seems to be.
Brayden already has the location of the second warehouse where he can ambush them and arrest all of them. All the information that I gave him checked out. He had a solid case to go against them. They would start raiding all the warehouses soon and that's the end of the Sinaloa Cartel.
I watched the screen that gave me entry points and if anything was to happen where I could escape from. He seemed to still make sure I was safe, but he made it a reminder I was still dying. I held my belly as I thought about the babies and how I was going to need to keep them safe.
I can't nor want to lose them. I may have not told Kazimir, but they were still a part of me and meant everything to me. I couldn't just find any part of me that thought about an abortion. Nikolai mentioned it, but I shut it down.
He looked at me and my belly. He shakes his head a little as he gets up from the chair.
"You're the most interesting woman I have ever met."
I didn't say anything as I looked at his laptop. Familiar voices reach my ears. There was a video surveillance on his screen and I noticed it was a hotel. It showed Kazimir talking to Andrei and Alexei. He ruffled his hair, then rubbed his face.
"She's stressed out, so much that she's pushing me away. I'm not letting her go on her own," he said.
"Why would she go alone?" Andrei asked.
"Because she's thinks she's making the right choice, but I will sink Miami into the ocean be-."
"Kaz, you will start a war between Russian and the US," Alexei said, in high-pitched girly tone.
"That's what she would say, if anything let her do this in her own terms. Maybe she has a trick up her sleeve, after all they caused a lot of pain to her," Alexei added.
"Still, Why would she go alone? Imani isn't that stupid. I thought she hated them?" Andrei questioned.
"She does."
I leaned forward as I continued to listen. Nikolai walked back over with a coke cola can in his hand. He pressed a button and the computer muted it. I stared up at him as he rested on the desk.
"Do you see why I have to get rid of you? You're stressing him out too much," he says.
"What else do you want from me?"
"Nothing, I have set up a new bank account in your new name. Money will be put into it monthly to support whatever life you choose for yourself in London. Our agreement is you make no attempts to contact Kaizmir, even after the baby is born. You're dead, you're a fucking ghost."
"What if he finds out I'm not dead?" I ask.
I don't make any attempt to look at him. He tilted my head up to look at him. His bright blue eyes pierced into my soul and he narrowed his eyes.
"If he does, he wouldn't want anything to do with you. I would make him hate you to a point it's unforgivable. You broke his heart, Do you know what type of man Kazimir would turn into?" He asked, chuckling.
