"I've never been on TV before." Soda said, as one of the makeup crew adjusted the collar of his shirt. I was surprised they didn't try and put any makeup on him, not that he needed it, but Soda didn't like the feeling of makeup brushes so it was probably for the best.
"Are you nervous?" I asked, the makeup artist applying a blush to my cheeks.
"Not really, you?" He asked, walking towards me.
"No, I don't really get stage fright." I chuckled a bit.
"You're all done, Ms. Wolfenhard." I smiled and thanked her, walking to Soda.
"Are we going to tell them our name ideas?"
"No, we'll just say I'm pregnant with a baby girl. That's it." Soda nodded, his face slightly pink. Soda must've been more nervous than he was letting on.
It was nearing Christmas, and I always did a Christmas special with a commercial company. Usually, it was some sort of Christmas-related challenge that ended with Chloe and I wishing the viewers a merry Christmas.
This year, I decided to announce my pregnancy with Soda and end it with Soda, Chloe, and I wishing the viewers a merry Christmas. The commercial company would make money from the number of times it was shown and I would get a cut as well.
"Are you all ready?" I nodded as Chloe ran up to me, wearing the Christmas dress she'd wear to the Curtis house on Christmas Day.
"Okay, we're live in...3...2...1!" I smiled at the camera.
"Hey, it's Grace Wolfenhard! This year is going to be a sort of different Christmas special." Chloe nodded quickly.
"We actually have an announcement to make." Soda smiled, glancing at me. He was doing just great, he was a true star.
"Chloe's gonna tell you." I bent down, picking Chloe up and sitting her on my hip.
"Mama's having a baby, and I'm getting a little sister!" Chloe squealed, happily.
"That's right, and with that, Soda, Chloe, and I all wish you a,"
"Merry Christmas." We all said in unison before the cameras were shut off.
