"Soda, I don't want anything." Soda smirked at me.
Steve and Soda were shopping for the gang and Steve was also shopping for Evie. Soda brought me along so that I could help him with gift ideas for the gang and possibly me. Anything I slightly glanced at, he asked if I liked.
"C'mon doll, let me buy you something for Christmas." I shook my head. "You bought me something, I saw it in the closet, why can't I get you something?" I gasped and smacked his arm playfully.
"Sodapop Curtis, why were you snooping in the closet?" Soda laughed.
"I was trying to figure out what you got me." I rolled my eyes.
"I swear if you opened it-"
"I didn't open it baby, calm down." He grasped my hand as we walked to another store inside the mall.

I felt my stomach start to twist as it got close to Soda's turn to open his present from me.
I got Steve a new seat of tools, Ponyboy a huge bookshelf and a couple of new books from his favorite authors, Darry two tickets to his favorite football team, and Two-Bit a new leather jacket with a switchblade that was bigger than his other one.
"Thanks, Grace." Two-Bit smiled, examining the blade.
"And the last ones are for Soda," Darry announced, handing Soda two wrapped presents.
"Open that one last," I said pointing to the littler box. Soda's eyebrows furrowed but sat the smaller present aside.
He quickly ripped open the present and pulled open the box. I chewed on my nail as he pulled out a leather jacket that matched Two-Bit's.
"Thanks, Grace." He smiled. I wished that he opened the present slower as he ripped open the smaller box. His eyebrows furrowed once more as he looked at a small white stocking that said 'Little Curtis'. My bottom lip went in between my teeth.
"What is it?" Ponyboy asked as he came over and sat down next to Soda. I already told Ponyboy about this gift and he understood it too. He saw the stocking and then whispered something in Soda's ear. His eyes went wide as he dropped the present.
"You're not joking?" He looked at me as my eyes welled up with tears. Happy tears. I shook my head. Soda's eyes welled up with tears as well and hugged me tightly.
"What? What is it?" Two-Bit and Steve asked in unison.
"Grace, she's pregnant." Soda kissed my cheek as he pulled away.
Chloe clapped before turning back to the T.V. that was playing a Mickey Mouse Christmas special.
"Oh my god." Two-Bit smiled.
"Soda's gonna be a dad?!" Steve exclaimed.
"Goddamn it Pony, I owe you twenty now," Darry muttered.
"What?" I asked as Soda laughed and shook his head.
"When we were little, Pony and Darry made a bet that I would have a kid before them. Darry didn't think so." I laughed.
"Well, you better cough it up soon Dar." We all laughed out.
