Five sat up on his bed and kissed my forehead then shuffled to put on his shoes. I stirred awake at the movement of the bed. "Where are you going?" I rubbed my eyes and propped myself up.

"I need to do something." He sighed and nodded his head towards Delores. "I need to finally put my past behind me. Klaus brought it to my attention, said that I had an addiction and... I think he may be right. He's fighting his so I need to let go of mine." Five tied his last shoe and stood up.

The corner of my mouth turned up. "It's about time, you know." My grin grew. "You've been talking to Klaus a lot lately, huh?"

"Yeah, yeah. It's like I told you, I do take advice when it's good." He took Delores and gently set her in a duffel bag.

"I'm glad you're doing this. I know it has to be tough. I'm happy that you're confronting it." I took his hand.

"Would you, would you go with me?" A line appeared on his forehead in anticipation.

I gave him a ginger smile. "I think this is something you need to do alone." He looked at the oversized bag and nodded his head in understanding.

"I'll be back in a jiffy." He softly smiled back.

"Take as long as you need." I got up and smoothed out my untamed hair a bit then gave him a peck on the cheek. He left his tie loose around his neck and looked up at the heavens. I exhaled a laugh and started working on his tie. "Happy?"

"Thrilled." We leaned into the other's kiss. "I loue ye."

"I loue ye too," I replied then Five marched out of the room. Not long after, I heard Vanya's voice. Vanya's back. An almost unseen smile tugged at a corner of my mouth for a brief second. I know Allison and I of all people should be furious but I can't bring myself to feel that way. I quickly plodded down the stairs to see her.

"Hello?" I stepped down the stairs and my eyes rested on my sister. She squinted her eyes in my direction. "Eight?" Those eyes went as big as saucers.

"Aye, it's me." I gave her a smile. She jogged to me for a hug.

"I-I-I thought you were dead. I thought I killed you." She looked me over as if I was the ghost she thought I must be.

"Well, you're richt aboot the second bit I'm afraid. I was dead as of a few hours ago but I'm here noo. That's what matters." I squeezed her hands.

"I'm so so sorry." Tears welled in her eyes. "I can't tell you how sorry I am."

"You were angry and maybe even a little scared. Ah know you didn't mean it. You still need to find your ground with your powers. Ah understand that." She sadly smiled.

Seven changed the topic, "You look different. Good different."

"Thanks, it's my true form. I finally found it while I was dead, sae I guess something guid came out of... that." We heard footsteps approaching from the balcony. Vanya and I looked up to see the muscular form of Luther. Oh no.

"Vanya," the large man said in a low voice then there was silence.

"Is Allison..." She looked between us.

"She survived," Luther answered gravely.

Vanya sighed in relief and focused on her shoes. "Thank God."

"What happened?" he inquired.

"We got in an argument. And things got out of control. I didn't mean to hurt her," her voice squeaked.

"We know you didn't," I answered for my brother who turned his cold stare to me.

"Please, you have to believe me," she begged Number One.
