We arrived at the gala, Five still in his uniform, the men in their suits, Lila in her flowy blue dress, and me in my crisp dark green.

"Why do we need to park under the bridge? We're going into a party not robbing a bank," I implored. Five, Diego, and Lila jumped over the rock wall onto the bridge. Gill and I looked at each other and went around. We got to the top and I saw them crouched behind a car. "What're you guys doing?" Five grabbed my hand and pulled me down beside him. Gill squatted down behind me.

"What's the plan?" Lila softly asked.

"We infiltrate, we identify, we extract. Double time," Diego softly answered.

"What the hell's he talking about?" Lila asked us.

"Find the old man and get out fast," Five answered.

Diego looked back at him. "That's what I said."

"Okay, the hecketh is this? Why are we hiding when we're literally fixing to walk in there through the front door," I whispered.

"If anything this seems more suspicious," Gill added to which I nodded.

"Just go with it," Lila told me.

I put my hands up in surrender. "Alrighty, whatever ye say, honey dearest."

"On me... Go," Diego ordered then started quickly walking crouched behind the cars. Gill and I shook our heads in annoyance at the unnecessary action again then stood up to walk to the entrance like normal people.

I looked down at the two still crouched behind the car. "You comin', guys?"

"After you," Five told Lila.

"What, I can't be polite?"

"Cut the crap. All right? My dimwitted brother might buy your bullshit—" I scoffed. "That-that I understand. You guys are sisters, and he's just a buffoon—" I crossed my arms. "Besides the point. I don't trust you for a second."

"O ye of little faith." Lila scoffed.

"Stick it up your ass." Five sardonically grinned.

"Hey! That was uncalled for." I exhaled in exasperation. "Lila are you still working for the Commission?"

"No, I quit those lunatics."

"And what're ye doing here?"

"Was trying to find you two, wound up in an insane asylum, then met... him." She gestured to Diego still crouch walking behind the cars, oblivious to the people left behind.

"Real charmer." Gilligan chuckled making me smile.

"Sae, we're all guid here?" I clapped my hands together.

Five's snarl didn't change. "Still don't believe it one bit." He silently scoffed then the two crouch walked behind Diego making Gill and I snicker. "Bonnie are you—?" Five turned back to see me laughing with my husband as we walked upright to the large doors.

The others eventually made their way to the doors and suspiciously scoped out the party. "Took you guys long enough," Gill commented.

Diego leaned into him to mutter while looking around. "Hey. Keep it on the down low," he quietly barked. Gilligan mischievously snickered.

I gave him a familiar look. "Gilligan, don't."

"Oh come on. What's the worst that could happen?"

"Something bad happens literally every time that phrase is spoken."

He knocked on the wooden table. "Better?" I grinned and looked to the sky in response. He picked up his empty glass and a spoon.

"Gill, I'm serious. Don't." I tugged his sleeve.
