Chapter 25

The Illusive Man is a genius, he has a plan to get Shepard to fall into his trap. It's perfect, nothing can make this fail. Unless she sees through it, which I will just kill her then.

Their is a battle outside between the Alliance and Cerberus, not that it matters. Alarms blare as Shepard boards the station, again it doesn't matter. After we fail to kill her, it's time to see how good an actor I am.

"Shepard help!" I tell into the microphone. Making my capture, saying that I am the person she thinks I am will get her to the white room. Then the great Commander Shepard will be under my bosses control.

"Ashley?"

"Yes, help! I remember everything, you have to help me!" I have to hold back a laugh. Oh god, it's that AI. Luckily I already have counted measures for it.

She doesn't answer and keeps moving towards the center, where we have more surprises waiting for her. God she is a fast killer, she is almost here. Well I'm in the shadows and waiting, for her to get here.

"Shepard help!" I scream again. Hoping that she falls for it.

"Ashley.... The mission comes first."

Never changed. Wait, why would I think that? She has always been like that, she abandons everyone.

"Don't abandon me!" I try for a final time. She doesn't answer, wow if I was really in trouble she would leave me.

Finally she gets here and the stupid VI and her have a dainty and stupid conversation. Kai Leng doesn't even know I'm here as that fight and let me tell you. Kai Leng is getting his ass kicked badly, and I thought he was better than this.

When I click the button, making her friends fall into their white rooms she pulls out her gun and looks around.

"Dear old Commander, you won't see them again." I drop down to the floor and I am silent. She shoots at me and I deflect it.

I do acrobatics to land behind her and kick her back, she spins and hits my katanas away. My hand knocks away her pistol and assault rifle, now she has to use hand to hand combat.

She tries to use her omni tool attack but I grab her arm and flip her so it misses me. My biotic dagger is in my hand and I slash her cheek, the dagger itself misses but the biotic wave that follows it makes a cut across her cheek.

I do a roundhouse kick at her and and flies into the wall, it was biotic charged.

Her face is bloody and bruised, and they said she was impossible to beat. I pin her against the wall and I can see fear in her eyes. Finally, I can get revenge for my family, kill their killer.

"Ashley......" Her words come out strained. Who is Ashley anyway?

"Remember........."

"Shut up!" I scream and throw her into the other wall.

"Kaiden.........."

Kaiden? Who is Kaiden?

"Who? It doesn't matter anyway, your a dead Commander."

I notice a few tears run down her face and I never thought that she would ever cry.

"Your boyfriend......" She can barely speak now.

Kaiden....... Kaiden!

I remember that he broke my heart, but- No, he only broke my heart.

"Why should he matter? He broke my heart, you killed my family. Anyone outside of Cerberus can just die," I snarl at her.
