{IN BRINING THIS STORY VACK BABY!!!}
/Ashley\
I wake up with Shepard standing over me, I jump up and hug her.
"I am so sorry Shepard, I am so sorry."
Liara pulls me away, and I am tied up.
"We are almost to Earth Commander, you sure you're ready?" Kaiden asks.
Im their prisoner, I'm going to go to court for attacking and "killing" Earth's last hope. I should be sentenced to death, I should be.
I deserve it, but now I'm going to make sure I get my revenge. Garrus drags me down to a shuttle, where I am tossed in and other soldiers file in with me. Apparently I'm going to earth, smart plan people.
The whole shuttle is silent, then bright light. We are hit! Hit! We crash and I ear the Reapers around us, then a familiar shouting. Jack!
"Move it people! Come on we don't have a day!" Defiantly Jack.
I break the ropes and sprint out to help fight, but someone tries to stop me. I resist throwing him into the swarm of Reapers. Instead I throw him into the shuttle, I'm not evil.
There is a break in the horde so I sprint away, before she or anyone else can do anything.
I give up trying to follow the rules, I am going I protect any civilians that are left and hiding with no hope. I slide under a falling wall and I see a giant wall where Reapers are charging at. I think I found the base of the Resistance.
I scale the wall and carefully move past Shepard, who is shooting the Reapers up. I'm using my invisibility part of my armor so I'm not noticed.
Her speech to everyone...it makes me feel like I will come back alive, even if I'm not part of her team anymore. I will be with them though, invisible. I don't see Rose there though, where is she? She can't be dead, she can't.
"What do you mean she got away? Damn it!" Shepard yells.
"Ashley escaped?" Liara asks.
"Yes she did, be on the look out and...and shoot on sight." She doesn't want me dead, but I made it a hard call for her.
"Liara, Garrus you're with me, the rest of you cover the other squads."
We fight our way over to the beacon, Shepard launching missiles at the reaper that blocks our way there. Garrus, Liara and I are covering Shepard while she targets the missiles.
"Go Shepard!" I call, forgetting that I'm invisible. Shit shit shit! How could I forget?!
All three of then shoot to where they thought my voice was, and they're accurate. I drop down and roll to the side, hiding behind one of the trucks.
"Shepard lets just go! She's dead to the reapers anyway."
They run to where the reaper fell, I'm following close behind. I will always stick by her, even when I'm not wanted. We never got along, I don't think we had the time to learn about each other.
It was always fighting, fighting, fighting, fighting, oh she's dead, she's back?! Oh so you don't want me, i was going to leave anyway, now you want me back?
Cool, oh more fighting! Oh I'm abandoned by her wonderful. I forget what happened and everything, Quarians yay! Oh my god can you give credit where credit is deserve Jane?! Lalalala oh Thane's dead....and Jane abandoned me again!
On Thesia, yay! Reapers, REALLY?!?!? Captured again, by Cerberus. Broken then controlled by Cerberus, killed tons of people, then I attack and pretty much kill Jane. I'm freed from Power, locked and tied up on the Normandy, and now I'm here.
So we never really had time to get to know each other, so now as I see her charge the beam. I can't help but think that I never actually got to know my family.
"NO SHEPARD!" I scream as Harbingers beam strikes her and everyone else charging the beam.
I run forward as Harbinger leaves, satisfied that their plan is foiled. I find Shepard among the wreckage, her armor burned to a crisp and most of it missing. I check for a pulse, there is one.
Anderson, Liara, Garrus and five other soldiers are alive. The rest are dead though, and I find a radio on one.
"This is Commander Ashley Dawn, Commander Shepard and eight others are alive."
"Their statuses?" The woman asks.
"Unconscious and need medical attention ASAP, and ma'am I am completing the mission. Give my best to everyone is Shepard's command."
"Yes Commander."
"Shepard thank you for freeing me from cyro," I whisper then run to the beam and jump into it.
When I open my eyes there are reapers everywhere down the hall, luckily only husks and marauders are against me. Taken them out was easy, luckily and OH MY GOD A BRUTE!
"Run! Run! RUN ASHLEY!" I scream to myself as I run from the brute, I can't waste time or energy trying to take it out myself.
There is a small hall that I think leads to the center of the citadel, thank god the brute is to big to fit.
"Okay if I was a control panel where would I be? AHA!" I found it!
I open the arms to the citadel, and the giant machine connects perfectly. I activate the catalyst, saying destroy only reaper forces.
"Adios Reapers," I whisper as everything glows read.
BOOM!
All in one second I am in an explosion then space, struggling to breath I activate the N7 breather of my armor. A second explosion, and I feel something tugging forcefully at my back.
"No no no!" I try to block the hole where my precious air is leaking out off. As my vision starts to fade, Power takes over. I am in a blue bubble of air, and I can breath fine.
"We are not dying today," My voice, no Power's voice says.
As we fly towards Earth, my mind drifts to everything that's happened before and after cyro. Before cyro I was a pre teen fighting against adults of completely different origins. I was fighting the things that Si-fi movies made us fear or look at with awe, I was fighting aliens.
But they were there to eliminate the human race, and then enslave any survivors after they brake them. We fought back, persevered and kept going. That's what humanity does, we never give up.
I never gave up as I fought the foes and challenges of waking up in a new world, where aliens and humans get along somewhat.
Two Shepards, similar personalities. One is a fourteen year old girl with crazy biotic powers, the other is a twenty two year old commander who's been to hell and back.
Now, the younger sixteen year old has saved the galaxy a second time. Jane and I are even, she's saved it twice and so have I.
I look down and see the round and rubble of London, it used to be so beautiful. As shameful as it may be, I truly loved the Earth before the true first contact war. No floating cars, boats had a purpose, planes too, cities looked less like a science fiction movie and more like a true human city.
We are fifty feet from the ground, and my time here is done. I've done my part, my damage and my job. There only needs to be one Commander Shepard, and I also miss my family.
"Power you aren't living anymore," I whisper as I take control again. I remove the shield ten feet above the ground.
"There once was a woman brave and strong-" I begin to say.
Then blackness.
