Benrey was all alone in the void. He sat by himself in boredom, thinking of something to do. He wanted to do something, he would do anything! He just wanted something to entertain himself with, or something he could distract himself from his thoughts. But there was nothing to do in the void, it was just an empty, colourless, endless room, and there was no one else there but him. He though back on when his friends defeated him, and how he watched them attend the best birthday party, and watch them rob banks, all without him. It was something that genuinely upset him, he surprised that every time he thought about it, all he wanted to do was cry, but he held back on his emotions. He did that around his friends when they were all at Black Mesa, what difference would it make when he did it by himself. Every time he closed his eyes, nothing changed in how things looked, and to make sure he opened his eyes, he put his hand in front of his face. He did that like usual when he closed his eyes to rest them for moment, but when he opened them, he saw not only his hand in front of his face, but something in the distance. He gets up, excited. "Finally, Something To Do!" He says as he walks towards it. When he gets a bit closer, he sees that it was code. "Code? Why Is There Code?" More code started to appear around him, making his head twist and turn to look at it all. Screens started appearing as well. Although Benrey was no dog, if he was one, his tail would be wagging so hard it would snap right off. He looks at the screens, wondering what was on them. He gasps at the sight. It was his friends! But they were all in different uniforms. They were riding a train to somewhere, but to where? Once the train stopped. He looked over at another screen, and sees his friends getting off, and walking into metro cops.

His eyes were glued to the screens in awe. He saw his friends find Barney Calhoun, he saw them jump through a window and walk into a hall, where there was people lining up for something. He saw his friends leave the hall and jump over a fence, he saw his friends run away from an apartment raid, and he saw them get saved by Alyx Vance. His heart raced in excitement. "My Friends!" He muttered. He shakes his hands with happiness, then he gets a thought. "I Want To Join Them!" He says as he begins to look around. "I Could Do What I Use To Do!" He runs around looking for something, and finds the specific piece of code he wanted at the moment. It takes him a few moments to figure out how to get a keyboard up but he manages to do it. He searches around and finds his friends files. "Their They Are.." He says with awe. "I Need To Join Them!" He says, getting impatient as he searches around more. Most of the other code was of random citizens, but he couldn't figure out at what point they were at. This code was slightly different from the old code he used to play with. Finally he finds a piece of code that sticks out to him like a sore thumb. Minus.exe. He looks at it and considers his options for a moment. "Awe, What The Hell. They're Probably Not Aware Anyways." He says as he over runs the file with his own. Oh boy would he come to regret that.

Minus sat at the bench, patting the sustenance paste bag she had on her. She thought about the group  that she meant as she looked at the big bag she had. She thought about opening it, but then, she started feeling strange. It wasn't like she had stomach or anything, but this feeling was strangely familiar. A glitch that jolted her body off the bench and causing the bag of paste to fall out of her lap made her stand up. "What The Hell-" Her voice that started letting out random noises as her face glitched horribly. Was this painful? She couldn't tell, but she knew she didn't like what was going on. She started coughing, but nothing was coming up. Her body glitched out even more and landed her onto the floor, she coughed more, feeling something in her throat. Whatever was in her throat, it wasn't coming up, instead, it felt like it was going down into her insides. She let out a yelp that she didn't control. "What-" Her voice turned into a jumble of scratches and glitches. Her body kept glitching, until whatever was control her body, smashed her head into the near centre piece of the street, making her black out.

When she came too, she stood up. She felt different, but she still felt in control. 'What No- This Wasn't Supposed To Happen!' Benrey thinks. Minus hears the new voice in her body. "HUH?! WHO-" She stops herself. She relaxes, a smile appearing on her face. "Hello." Benrey was startled by the bodies communication to him. 'Uh... Hi? This... I Didn't Mean For This Uh-' "It's Okay. You're Staying With Me Now, BENREY." Benrey begins to freak out, he didn't even say his name, but this body knew his name? How? "You Have No Control. I AM THE HOST." Minus didn't even know what she was saying, but... this felt so natural. She was still in control. This was her. She is Minus. This is Minus. Benrey was stuck, he couldn't get out. This is when he realised his mistake. Minus looked at her hands, they looked more... clawed, and pale. She grabbed the centre of the jumpsuit she was wearing, and tore the top off it one swift motion, to show a blue and black striped t-shirt underneath. 'What The Hell, Why Does She Just Have Normal Clothes Underneath?' Benrey thinks, Minus hears this but ignores it. She does the same with her jumpsuit pants, tearing them off as if they were mere leeches on her skin. She was wearing a pair of shorts underneath. Why she had modern casual clothes under he jumpsuit, she and Benrey did not know, but she felt more free. She slipped off the uncomfortable shoes and socks that she still had on, making herself barefoot. "Ah, Finally, My Chest Can Move!" She blurts out as she stretches up her arms. "Gordon. You Want To See Gordon." Benrey couldn't move, he was trapped. He was still able to talk, see, and hear, but nothing else, and even the eyes he could see out of, he couldn't control. Even when he talked, only one person heard his voice, and she had the choice to ignore him. She was trapping him, she knew what she was doing. She lets out a burst of laughter. "Lets Find The SCIENCE TEAM!" She says as she begins to run.

Benrey felt nothing but fear in this moment, what was happening? He wanted to scream, he wanted to cry, but if he did, no one would listen to him. He wanted to call for help, but he doesn't have control. He only says one thing to himself in this one moment. "I Fucked Up..."
