Amy was the first to wake up, she noticed Jack was awfully close to her.

Amy stood up as she stretched her limbs, her arms then her legs and torso, with her back.

Jack still sat up sleeping, while Leaf snored over the log. Amy decided to go down to the shore line, so she could splash her face with some water to help wake her up better.

Amy walked down the little sandy area to get to the water. When she got there, she got on both knees. She splashed her face with the water, but behind her she heard noise coming from the woods. Amy was quick to her feet as she spun on her heels to turn towards the woods.

A dark brown silhouette of a wolf came peeking out the woods. Amy sucked in a breath; she was shaken up for she didn't know what to do. The wolf had indigo blue eyes, with a dark brown mane for its body. The beast growled and came closer to Amy, but didn't strike her or snip at her. Amy stayed as still as a statue; the wolf's growl dropped to a low hum. The beast came closer and closer till its snout was touching her forearm, sniffing her clothing. Amy let out a small weep, that was the worst mistake she could make.

The wolf jerked back and stared at her, dead in the eyes. Amy slowly moved her hand but the wolf jerked another few steps back and howled loudly as it's growling got louder.

Amy had two ideas of what to do in this situation. Either she could run as fast as she could, or scream for someone to help. Amy took the chance and took off running back towards the camp. The wolf took off after her, surprisingly Amy didn't trip over anything as she ran for her life.

Jack heard the running footsteps and drew his sword, but before he could go out to the shore. Amy and the wolf both came racing out the woods. The wolf got ahold of Amy's pant leg as it gripped hard, refusing to let go at any cost. The wolf gripped her pants leg with its razor-sharp teeth. Amy got tripped off her feet, she cried out and started screaming and kicking at the thing. Jack was there in a flash, but he was stopped by the huge flame of fire that went balling to the wolf. The wolf let Amy go as it howled out in great pain, its mane was the first that caught fire.

As the rest of the body was burned within seconds of the flame touching the beast.

The fear in the eyes of Amy, was real.
