-In Sir Parker's office-

Sir Parker's expression was so full of anger, Jack and Leaf both took a step back.

Sir Parker scolded them. "What in the bloody hell is that on her neck!" Leaf hung his head, Jack did as well. Leaf muttered in shame. "Sir it's a mark, from me." Sir Parker's eyes lighted up so bright in anger, you could swear they would light up in flames if they could. "Are you trying to get hung by the King himself!?"

Leaf sputtered hoarsely. "I didn't realize at the time being who the ma lady was! I was honestly messin around with the pure virgin ma lady and didn't realize she was a royal, let alone the stolen second child!!" Sir Parker started to rub the bridge of his nose as he snarled at Jack. "You are her guard at birth, where were you to stop such a thing from happening!?" Jack hung his head in shame as he bleakly said. "It was under my control until he started to give her the mark. It was mainly my fault sir. I used up all my energy beforehand when I was fighting off one of the members from the Midnight Checkers." Sir Parker stopped rubbing the bridge of his nose as his eyes flickered to Jack. "You fought off one of the members?" Jack picked his head up from shame to proudness. "Yes sir, I did."

A faint smile spread across Sir Parker's face; he gave a deep sigh as he inquired. "I knew you were strong and well trained by my brother but I never knew he taught you such ways to protect a royal. I shouldn't think less of my brother but he always had a soft spot for going easy on you in training." Jack just gave a brief look of sorrowness to Sir Parker, remembering the old times back in the training camp. Sir Parker gave him a brief nod back instead, Sir Parker himself missed the old times as well.

Sir Parker gave a stern look to Leaf as he said. "You're very lucky I was the first person to find this out. Any other solider of the King would turn you in for punishment for such a thing!" Leaf eyes lit up with fear as he dropped to his knees in front of Sir Parker and begged. "Please sir! Don't turn me in for my foolish act! I pray and sing and even declare to the lord that I will never ever lay my hands on her again! I beg of you for me mere life!?" Sir Parker grunted. "Get off your knees and stop begging like a boy to his mother for a treat. You're a man, you need to start acting like one. I won't turn you in, which I should but I won't. I'm not turning you in only because Jack would never let me turn in his only mate of a friend he got. I also rather not see such a funny mate as you be, beheaded at the stake." Leaf threw his hands together as he bowed his head and promised. "Oh, thank you fair sir! I won't let you down!" Sir Parker just shook his head at Leaf as he barked. "Be off! Get out my office before I change my mind!" Leaf happily skipped to the door, swinging it open. Amy scrammed away from the door, running as fast as she could back into the living room. Amy played it cool, leaning against the wall and pretended to be looking out the window.

Leaf eyed Amy, knowing she was listening but left it alone without a word about it.

Sir Parker closed his office door and took the same place he was standing before.

Jack looked Sir Parker straight in the eye, giving a stern look back to Sir Parker. Sir Parker chuckled as he mentioned. "You think my brother was the only one that taught you those death glares and stern looks you give everyone?" Jack's stern looks softened as he gave a small smirk. "I know he didn't just teach me the look. You prosecuted the look very finely just earlier." Sir Parker broke into a full grin as he took a step forward and locked Jack into a head lock, ruffling his hair. "Oh, don't be going acting all big with such fancy words. You're still the baby Jack I grew up taking care of. You're still the baby of training camp." Jack sighed, taking the noogie with glee. "I guess you're right, but I still can kick your ass in sparing with swords." Sir Parker let Jack go as he jokily said. "Sure, you can." Jack grinned, enjoying the time Sir Parker and him was having.

Jack then begun to think about the mark on Amy again, he frowned. "We both know what I have to do with that mark." Sir Parker's grin faded as his stern adultly look came back. "You will get punished for such a thing. Are you willing to face the King and Queen for such a punishment that you didn't cause in the beginning?" Jack hung his head and muttered. "I was the fool to think Leaf wouldn't do such a thing. I estimated him and it's my fault." Sir Parker tilted his head to look out the window in his office. "Hopefully by the time you three reach the castle it will heal. But if you overlap it, then it most likely won't." Jack rose his head as he grimaced groggily. "We both know that marks in this world tend to leave permanent marks, it's not like the human world. I will not leave her to be seen with a street rat's mark. No one should live with such shame, especially an important person like her." Sir Parker cleared his throat. "Do what you must, I only will let something like this slide once because I myself don't know what to do. I never thought a situation like this would come up, I have no words to say or any actions to be put into motion. I just trust that you never let something like that to happen again, even when I know you tried your hardest to stop it. Promise me you will protect her against something like that happening again." Jack bowed his head for the final time as he declared. "I promise that I will protect her with my life from any type of harm." Sir Parker took a glance at Jack but looked back out the window. "Our world is so beautiful but has such a dark soul inside of it. That girl outside of this office is so full of fear, that I'm afraid she runs only on pure fear. You need to get her to explain her feelings, she can't be seen with that fear. Other's already want to take her away again, if they see her with that fear and know she's not strong enough yet, then they will get more brutal and try taking her more than they already have." Jack nodded. "I know, I been fearing the same thing."

Sir Parker stopped looking out the window as he turned his head at Jack and gave a gentle smile. "Now that we have got that conversation out of the way. Tell me a full report on how you found the beautiful stolen princess?"
