Ten minutes pass.
Amy stayed by the window, staring with curiously out of it. Leaf eyes scanned the book shelves and whole hut, being noisy to what Sir Parker had in the hut.
Jack came out of Sir Parker's office with Sir Parker trailing behind him. Sir Parker looked pleased; his stern look was gone. Jack looked pleased as well but had worriedness creased between his eyebrows.
The smell of being on a beach went through the air.
Amy had a small smile paint over her face, she knew when Jack was near every time because of his cologne. Jack might be stubborn and very rude sometimes but he was very sweet and caring when he wanted to be.
Amy thoughts shifted to Jack, the moment they had at the camp fire replayed in her mind. As the memory replayed through her mind, her staring out the window made her feel as if it was happening. As the memory played through her eyes like lenses to a different movie scene, Jack took a glance at Amy.
Jack eyes studied her as he leaned against one of the book shelves. His gaze never broke, not even to blink.
Sir Parker noticed the trance of staring Jack was lost in; Sir Parker sighed deeply. Sir Parker knew why Jack was staring at her, being so lost in his own mind about her that he didn't even realize Sir Parker and Leaf was both staring at him.
Leaf snickered as Sir Parker cleared his voice, Jack snapped out of it. Jack's relaxed expression turned intense as his whole body tensed up. Sir Parker gave a stern look to Leaf, Leaf just kept on snickering under his breath. Jack eyes took one last glance at Amy. "Shouldn't we be making food?" Sir Parker stood tall as he mentioned. "Yes, we should. Though I won't be the one cooking the meal tonight." Jack questioned. "What do you mean by that sir?" Sir Parker gave a gentle smile as he said. "I think it would benefit the princess to learn a few tradition recipes we use to cook for you. Why don't you teach a recipe to her?" Jack gulped but his tense edgy expression stayed. "Yes sir." Sir Parker mentioned louder. "Would you like to come join us princess?" Amy was so lost in her memories of that night that she didn't hear a single thing they said.
Silence followed for a few seconds as Sir Parker waited for Amy's response but never got one.
Leaf chuckled as he said. "Ma lady isn't listening to a single word from the mouth. She's to busy thinking about something good. A grin is spread across her beautiful light pink lips." Jack grunted at his words but went to Amy by the window sill. Jack said gently. "Amy."
Still no response.
Jack waved his hand in front of her face and still no response. Jack went to grab her shoulder but Amy's hand flew up and snatched Jack's wrist.
Amy's beautiful smile faded as her eyes stayed focus on the things out the window. "I heard you the first time Jack." Amy's grip tightened on Jack's wrist; she squeezed his wrist so hard that she was starting to make his skin turn white. Jack just stared at her. "Then why didn't you respond the first time?" Amy eyes flickered from the window to Jack as she dropped his wrist, she turned away from him. "I didn't respond because I chose to ignore you." Jack was silent as Leaf chuckled. "Damn mate, she surely told you."
Jack barked. "Be quiet you smug rat."
