A week has passed and Meredith is preparing for their flight to San Diego for a conference with Amelia, they're leaving today and currently in their living room getting ready.
"Mer! have you seen my brush!" Amelia yelled from the living room while Meredith's in the bathroom
"It's here in the bathroom!" Meredith answered
"Grab it for me please!" Amelia yelled.
Meredith walked out of the bathroom with Amelia's brush in her hand.
"Thanks" The older woman said taking the brush from Meredith's hand.
"Is that all we need?" Meredith asked looking at their luggages
"Unless you're forgetting something" Amelia answered
"Alex is waiting outside he'll drive us to the airport" Meredith then said
"Though your Italian would drive us" Amelia said, grinning teasingly at her sister in law
"What?" Meredith asked absently,shock at her questions "You knew.... huhh" she the said
"Saw him leaving the house last night" Amelia admitted, I was in the kitchen and was walking down the stairs as if it was glass or something fragile" Amelia said smiling, remember how Andrew was trying to get out of the house as quietly at possible
"Does Maggie know?" Meredith asked surprised at her sister's words as Amelia walked towards the door
"Know what?" Maggie asked she was walking down the stairs still sleepy
"That we leave today for Amelia's conference" Meredith lied, trying to avoid any further on why and how did they manage to hide their relationship for four years
"Ohhh, thought that's tomorrow" Maggie said walking towards the porch where now Meredith is standing
"The conference is tomorrow but Amelia wanted to be prepared so we moved our flight for today" Meredith answered
"So, I'll be here alone for three whole days then" Maggie said
"Isn't Winston staying here?" Meredith asked "I thought you were going to call him"
"He's in Boston" Maggie answered "He needs to take care of something that his brother did"
"Again?" Meredith asked in shock
"Yeah...it never ends" Maggie said
"MER, ARE YOU COMING OR NOT!" they hear Alex horning the car
"Geez, I'm coming!" Meredith said chuckling at Alex as she walked towards the car
"Can't you keep your pants on!" Meredith said sitting on the passenger seat as Amelia was sitting at the back
"I'm coming with you!" Maggie said joining Maggie at the back seat
"You're not dressed" Amelia said, Maggie was still wearing her pajamas
"It's okay, I won't get out of the car." Maggie answered "Just want to see my sister walk towards the gate " she added after studying the questioning look on their faces.

Maggie just arrived at the hospital and is now on her way to the attending's lounge so that she could change into some scrubs.
"Hi good morning uh where can I find the chief's office?" she heard a man asking the nurse, standing in front of the nurse's station
"Excuse me?" Maggie greeted the man as she stood next to her "I'm Dr Maggie Peirce head of cardio" she said, smile politely as she offered him a hand
