Night time
"Hey!" Maggie said while walking towards Amelia who's standing in front of the OR board, scheduling her surgeries
"Hey" Amelia replied
"Did Meredith call you?" Maggie asked
"Not yet, why?" Amelia answered closing the marker putting it back down
"She hasn't called me since this morning" Maggie answered
"Maybe their flight got cancelled" Amelia stated
"Well, she would have told us, right?" Maggie questioned
"Maybe they're tired and went to sleep and didn't have time to call us" Amelia said
"Or...." Maggie continues grinning at Amelia
"Sex..." they said the same time, bursting out of laughter
"AMELIA!" they heard Alex running up to them
"Yeah?" shd replied turning around
"Alex what?" Amelia asked again, seeing the worried and panicked look on Alex's face
"It's Andrew" Alex added
"What happened?" Amelia asked immediately as the Doctors moved Andrew onto the bed from the gurney
"They were in an accident, Meredith is in Trauma Room 3" Owen answered while assessing Andrew "Andrew got the most of it
Amelia and Maggie made their way to trauma room 3 and saw Meredith laying on the bed, bruise all over her arm.
"Mer...can you hear me?" Amelia asked, as she was checking Meredith's pupils
"A-an-d-dr-rew" Meredith said, can't really form a word because of pain
"Owen's got him" Maggie answered, listening to her heart beat
"A-and-d-rew" Meredith repeated, before her monitor went off
"I NEED AN INTUBATION KIT, NOW!" Amelia yelled.

"Have you called Nick?" Amelia asked Maggie
"No"she answered shortly
They're standing outside of Meredith's room as she was laying on the hospital bed,tube down her throat,IV on her arm that's keeping her hydrated. While Alex was sitting on the chair sleeping near Meredith's bed.
"How's Andrew?" Amelia asked as Dr Nelson walked towards them, to give them an update
"He's stable for now but he's condition is still critical, he lost too much blood during the surgery" Nelson explained
He explained everything they needed to know and kept reassuring them that he's got Andrew, though he knew that they were doctors as well but... protocols.
"So he's in come?" Maggie asked
"Yes, we'll know more if there's any changes for the next 24 hours" Nelson said, earning a genuine smile from the two doctors before he walked out.
"How are they?" Bailey asked walking up to the two women
"Stable for now.... Andrew's in coma, he lost too much blood" Amelia answered shortly
"They were riding Deluca's motorcycle" Bailey stated
"What?" Maggie asked, as she and Amelia looked at her wanting to know more about what happened
"That's what Ben said... they were the first responders" Bailey added looking at Meredith through the hospital window "There was only helmet and Meredith was wearing it" she added
"He made her wear it..." Amelia said "he always does that, every time"
"Did they slip or something?" Maggie asked,too eager to know what really happened
"Van, drunk driver" Bailey answered shortly "Have you told Marsh?" she then asked, facing the two women
"Not yet... I don't know what to tell him" Amelia answered "Because the last thing I told him was he won't lose Meredith and now he might because Meredith is laying in the ICU connected with the vent who's breathing for her and in critical condition" she added in one breath, as tears building up in her eyes
"I'll call him" Maggie offered taking her phone out
Meredith and Andrew were in Italy for the whole year, they didn't say why nor did they say when they're coming back, they just told them they will when they're ready.
