Meredith and Amelia arrived at the house last night and are now on their way to the hospital.
Andrew hasn't told Meredith about what happened since he knew she's gonna be worried and she's gonna see it anyway when they see each other again so, he didn't bother telling her and just texted her:
"I missed you"
Meredith just arrived at the hospital and greeted by her other colleagues and nurses as she walked passed them, smiling at them in return.
As she was about to enter the attending lounge she felt somoene grabbed her wrist, spun her around and pulled her into a hug.
"Uhh, excuse me?" she said, clearly uncomfortable
"I missed you" she heard a familiar voice whispering on her ears
"Nick?" she said confused pulling away
"Y-you're here....what are you doing here?" she asked, not showing any kind of excitement or any expression at all
"I work here" Nick answered smiling, brightly at her
"Since when?" She asked as their eyes met, seeing Nick smiling brightly at her
"I started yesterday and I'm actually on my way to talk to Dr Bailey" Nick answered
"Hmmm,okay I uhm have surgery in 30 minutes I need to prep, see you around Dr Marsh" she said flatly, feeling overwhelmed by how she missed his hugs but doesn't seem to want to admit it in front of him
"You wanna go grab a coffee before your surgery?" Nick asked excitedly, hoping she'd say yes
"I-i can't I'm sorry... I gotta go,see you around Dr Marsh" Meredith said, offering him a small smile
"Yeah,yeah so problem. After surgery maybe?" he then suggested
"Maybe" she nodded slightly walking away and walked inside the lounge where she immediately saw Andrew who's standing by the fridge, his back facing her direction.
Studying what's inside the fridge,he felft a hand hugging him from behind, taking him by surprised as the hand rested on his chest and a face laying on her back,he immediately know who it is, just by the feeling of gee touch and her presence.
"Hey, you" he said smiling
"I missed you so much" Meredith smiled as Andrew turn around to face her "Why are you wearing a face mask? Take it off I wanna kiss you" she chuckle as she tried to take it off but Andrew stopped her
"I have a cold and I don't want you to catch it as well" he lied, putting her hand back down gently, smiling at her brightly through his mask
"I'm a surgeon,I can handle a cold" Meredith said, trying to convince him
"Mer..." Andrew said warningly
"Fine, but you'll take it off tonight" she said giving up
"Okay,deal" he nodded smiling at her response
"Along with your clothes" sbe might smirked before walking towards the closet to get a pair of scrubs, leaving Andrew who's too stunned by her words

"Hey,have you met the transplant guy?" Amelia asked Meredith at they're in the cafeteria eating lunch
"Dr, Marsh? yeah I ran into him this morning" Meredith answered
"He's good looking" Amelia grinned
"And so is my Italian" Meredith said, blushing at her own words before she took a bite of her salad
