the hustle and bustle of the crew shifting things from area to another was stressful enough for amber, and she wasn't even the one doing it. she was eternally grateful to have such a hardworking team.

jake gripped his guitar closely by his side, holding the handle on its case firmly, treating it like his baby. amber had come to gather over the tour that jake didn't like when others touched his guitar, which is understandable considering how precious it was, and it was admiring in a way, amber had hoped that she were like that in a sense.

"are we all going out tonight?" amber spoke up, hoping that they'd hit one of the local bars, spend tonight as a big group together, maybe spend some more time with jake just her and him... why am i thinking this? she quickly stopped herself.

"i don't know... are we?" jake asked looking over to her.
amber shrugged her shoulders, "second last show of the tour... perfect opportunity right? see what the local bars are like..." she trailed off.
"it sounds like a good idea." jake stated, smiling to her, "i'll inform the guys later."

amber nodded, her mind wandering to more questions to ask him before they reluctantly split ways.

"so have you got interview the same time as us?" amber asked, looking to jake.
"yeah we do, they'll probably just ask the same questions over and over and continue to pry about you." he stated.
amber sighed, "yeah... not the most ideal topic."
"i don't get me wrong, i like when people ask me about you i just... i don't know what to say." jake said, hinting at something.
"what do you mean?" amber questioned.
"well i think i have to hold myself back a little." he said softly.

amber then found herself getting lost in his eyes as he looked to her, the two of them continuing to walk down the hallway blindly as they stared.

amber then laughed, looking away to see josh down the hallway, a neutral expression written on his face as he closely watched the pair.

"and where were you two?" danny asked as he approached from behind josh, twirling a drumstick between his fingers as his other arm wrapped around josh's shoulder.
"we just came back from mine." amber explained, and she watched as danny's eyebrows raised.
"so that's where our guitarist has been all night?" he questioned.

amber smiled and shrugged her shoulders, moving into the green room, seeing danny playfully shove jake and scoff, as josh stared at the ground.

amber joined nick in the green room, standing with her hands on her hips as she searched around for a certain blonde headed drummer.

"where's taylor?" amber asked, continuing to look around for him, knowing the interview would start soon.

nick continued to swipe through his phone as he answers amber, "stuck with his lady friend in the tour bus. he won't budge."

amber rolled her eyes, "he couldn't show up for one interview?"

she exited back out into the hallway, noticing that the boys had now most probably migrated to their own green room, getting started with their own interviews.

she noticed jamie, her manager, as she walked down the hallway, seeing him sigh, with one hand holding his phone to his ear and his other hand tightly clutching his clipboard.

"amber!" he called out as they passed each other.
"i'm going to get him now. don't worry." amber reassured.
jamie sighed, "i tried, but he won't listen to me. he should listen to me. i'm his manager for gods sake."
amber chuckled, "we're rockstars, right?" amber joked as she walked backwards to the exit.
"respectable ones." jamie corrected.

amber pushed open the backstage doors and luckily enough this venue was sectioned off from the public, so large black metal fences a fair distance away from their buses separating her and the fans, which she found she needed, a little less stress before the big show. it's not that she didn't want to interact with them, it's just the screaming and shouting can get too much.
