Kai ran for his life through the bounty as Nya chased after him. "Why did I have to tell her?!" Kai exclaims. "Because you drew the short straw!" Jay yells from where he's playing video games with Lloyd. "If she kills you I'm keeping Ember!" Lloyd yells. "And she's the least likely to kill you in a rage," Zane answers reading a book behind Jay on the couch with Cole napping on his lap as Zane strokes his hair.

Kai dodges Nya's water strikes until one inevitably caught his ankle and he's suddenly upside down in the air facing his sister's angry face. "Nya you know I don't agree with it, but," Kai tries pleading for his life. "But? So you have reason to agree with this?!" Nya held up the object of her anger.

A few months ago Dareth, their manager the self proclaimed brown ninja, came to Nya proposing she has a biography written of her life to inspire young girls and woman all over Ninjago since she sort of did that already, but with a book they'd make money off it. While his wording was to be left to improvement Nya happily agreed to it hoping to make a name for herself and for people to know her name. She wanted to write it herself, but Dareth suggested a professional and after much needling she agreed. She met the person herself, they were a well known woman author and she had seemed nice enough.

Now yesterday a month before the date of the book was to be released to the public the manuscript came in the mail. Kai the ever loving brother he is wanted to read it first so he could say he was her first fan, and maybe highlight bits he could be more focused in, and knew after the first page they were in for a hurricane. The book made Nya look like a damsel in distress, skipped over all the awesome stuff she did as Samurai X, completely neglected all the times she saved their butts, made her sound dummer than she really was, and downplayed all the battles she took part in even awarding the victory at Stixx to Lloyd.

Kai could say one thing though was that it got all the tragic details of her life correct, but made them seem even worse then how they were. The book had enough correct details to get past anyone who did not know Nya, or care enough for it. It also painted him in a very flattering light, but pretty over the top if you ask him. Sure he's as over protective of her as you can get in their business and he does have a large ego, he never takes credit for stuff he never did. Honestly the book was terrible.

The book was even titled the girl ninja.

Kai showed it to the others and they all knew what would happen and how Nya would react. Instead of putting off tomorrow what could be done today they all drew straws. Kai got the shortest end so he had to tell Nya. It took him a hour to work up the courage, he did it while she was in a good mood, and now there is a rainstorm going on outside and two of the bathroom pipes had burst open.

"No! No!" Kai said waving his arms around. "Then what? Do you actually agree with this? Are you siding with the sexist pricks?" Nya asks deadly as a sea serpent . "No of course not! I'm not sexist we all know you could easily beat me to a pulp in your sleep! I respect woman! Your definitely smarter than me too always have been!" He chuckles nervously as Nya glares at him dangerously. "Please don't kill me I'm your brother and I love you," Kai pleads closing his eyes fearfully shielding his face.

Nya groans rolling her eyes and dropping him none too gently. "Ow!" He groans as Nya storms out. "I'm going somewhere to cool off!" She yells. "For how long?" Kai calls. "If I'm not back in a week I'll be somewhere in the archipelago," Nya yells.
"Wait Nya! Don't do anything you'll," Kai tries to stop her.

"Don't control me! All men try to do to me is tell me what to do!" Kai's offended. "Nya I'm your brother I'm only trying to help you," Kai said. "Well I don't need it! I am a strong independent woman and I don't need any man's help!" And with that Nya summons her water dragon and goes through a portal.
