Lloyd's Brother

(Okay this is kinda out of order but copy and paste wasn't working and I really wanted to post this)

There's this thing the ninja team collectively finds adorable. Every chance they had Lloyd and Kai would spend the entire day doing anything they want. It was therapeutic in a way for each of them, to make up for the childhoods they were robbed off.

Kai grew up too soon mentally and Lloyd grew up too soon physically. While they can never have that time back, they always have a tradition with each other where they act like kids for a day whenever they have the chance. They go to the park, they go to comic shops, they do whatever they want together no matter how kiddie it is. And it's always stuff they want, just because they can.

The two absolutely love doing it together.

Lloyd loved it a bit more than Kai though. He loved how special Kai made him feel, not in a romantic way no the guy is basically his brother. It's just if Lloyd is ever feeling down or upset Kai would drop everything to go help Lloyd in anyway he could. He would drop training, his boyfriends, anything if Lloyd was down.

One time Lloyd was pouting over his dad doing another evil deed and Kai cheered him up by going out for ice cream. Or the time Lloyd felt empty after his dad's death and Kai just sat with him holding him close and being a shoulder to cry on.

Lloyd loves Kai as much as a little brother could love his big brother. Kai would drop anything for Lloyd and that knowledge made Lloyd's darkest days feel just a little bit better. Kai was the first person Lloyd ever witnessed putting his needs above Kai's own. That bond makes Lloyd feel really warm and loved.

So Lloyd's not sure how to feel when Kai doesn't want to hang out with him anymore.

"What do you mean your hanging out with Hiccup today?" Lloyd asks. Kai was packing a bag and said. "I'm just going to spend the day with him green bean don't worry I'll be back later," Kai gave Lloyd a tight hug and then made to leave.

Lloyd frowns. He thought they were going to have another sibling day, they haven't done that in ages.

"When will you get back?" Lloyd asks. "Later I promise, then I can beat your high score on fist to face," Kai offers changingly.

Lloyd is still disappointed, but forces a grin on his face for Kai's sake. "You'll never do that," Lloyd said. "We'll see green bean," Kai said and then left on Ultra. Lloyd didn't know what to do for the day after that, whenever he had free time he would just go to Kai. He goes to the others to hang out, but it doesn't feel the same.

He loved them like brothers, but they were either doing stuff he wasn't interested in or they were being gross and kissy unless Jay was reading comics. When the day started drawing to an end Lloyd decided to wait outside for Kai to come back.

However Kai didn't come back until late into the night. He was smiling from ear to ear with ash and soot on his face. When he found Lloyd still up he was surprised.

"Yo Green Bean what are you doing up so late?" Kai questions Lloyd his smile fading.

Lloyd was really tired and his eyes were dropping. "I was waiting up for you," he answers. Kai smiles softly and ruffles his hair. "Thanks Lloyd, but next time don't stretch yourself for me. I was just hanging out with my brother. Me and Hiccup were testing this controlled explosives he was trying to make and then we compared blacksmith notes," Kai assures Lloyd and then pulls his hand back when he noticed the soot he got in Lloyd's hair.

"Whoops, hehe sorry Lloyd. *Yawn* I'm going to go to bed now. See you in the morning? I promise we can hang out tomorrow," Kai asks and Lloyd forces a smile. "See you in the morning," Kai waves bye.
