*DAVE'S POV*
My Christmas went pretty well. I spent the entire day with Kairi, Kobi, my mom, and Millie. It felt good to actually feel like a family again, even if it was just a few hours.

I eventually built up the courage to text Alexis, and she texted back.

The next morning, I texted Christian to come by my crib and to bring his girlfriend.

About twenty minutes after I texted him, he showed up.

"Aye, nigga! You been missing forever. The gang and I been missing you. Where you been at?"

"Bashar probably already told you. I've been with Alyssa. This is the first girl I've been in love with this deeply since Breah."

"She must be a keeper if she has you THAT in love. Where she at? Lemme meet her."

"Don't scare her away or nothing. She's already nervous with meeting my friends."

"I won't. I promise."

"Aight, cool."

Christian walked back to his car, opening the front door.

And of course, like I thought, Alyssa came out the front, and Loyal came out the back seat.

"Oh, shit... this is awkward..."

Alyssa said softly as she realized it was me. I raised my eyebrow and looked over at Christian. He looked back at me confused.

"What happened?"

"I met her already. I met her last week while out in the city. Her, Loyal, and her best friend.."

"You mean Juicy?"

Christian blurted out. Alyssa's eyes widened, then hitting Christian in his chest. My eyes then widened, my heart dropping into my ass.

Not only is Alexis a stripper and she didn't even tell me, she looked one of my closest friends in the eyes and they BOTH acted like they didn't know each other..

When they BOTH know they fucked..

"Why didn't yah just tell me that yah are strippers?"

"It's not the dream job you just come out and tell people, Dave. We —"

"Why didn't she OR Bashar tell me that they fucked around more than once? This shit ain't cool, B."

"Okay, keep in mind we LITERALLY just met you the same exact day. Maybe she was taken back by all of this. LIKE I AM RIGHT NOW. I didn't even know my boyfriend knows you."

"You work with a girl named Queen, right?"

"Yeah. Why?"

"That's my best friend Clarence's girlfriend. Maybe I should call him up, and we should clear up the fact that she's a lying, cheating whore."

I pulled out my phone, about to call Clarence until I noticed he was standing behind Christian and Alyssa.

"What did you say about my girl, bro?"

"Before you go crazy on me nigga, confront Justin about this shit. HE'S the one that told me that she's cheating on you with this nigga named Chris from Houston. Shooter even said he seen that shit for himself, B. You gotta leave that hoe alone."

"So, you KNEW this entire time and you didn't bother to tell me?"

"For one, I knew for only a WEEK! And for two, you already know me! I don't like getting into other people's relationship drama! That ain't me, nigga!"

"You supposed to be my best friend, though! I don't care if it was for only an hour! Whenever you hear some bullshit, you supposed to tell me ASAP! We don't keep shit from each other, D!"

Clarence shouted.

Damn. Now this mufucka REALLY mad. I ain't ever seen him this furious in my life.

"Aight, B. I'm sorry. But you needa go check ya girl instead of taking this shit out on me. SHE'S the one cheating on you and lying, no one else."

*ALEXIS' POV*
"I think this has to be the most normal I've ever felt in a while, honestly."

I said to Armon as I was in his room, watching him play video games.

I left Aniyah with mom and Trevor. They went to the stores, so they took her along with them.

"Why you say that, boo?"

"Because, New York is always so loud and dramatic. There's like so much that's always going on. I can't ever just relax and be... normal."

"What do you do for work?"

Armon paused his game, giving me his full attention. I sighed and looked up at him sadly.

"I'm a stripper, at least just for now. That's why I said I haven't felt this normal in a while. I never had a guy just talk to me for me. It always has to be something extra."

"Don't worry, I'm not judging you. But you are WAY too gorgeous to be stripping. You should be a professional at something."

"That's what my mom and Trevor tell me all the time. But, that's the thing. Ever since I had Aniyah, I just got so used to getting the easy and quick money nightly. My baby father doesn't help me at all to provide for her, so I'm just stuck doing it all on my own."

My eyes then started to fill with tears. Armon pulled me into a tight hug, trying his best to calm me down.

"It's okay, you don't have to cry. Just think of it as; it could be worse. You could be an ugly stripper who gets no money."

Armon joked, causing me to laugh and wipe the tears away from my eyes. He then chuckled and looked me into my eyes.

"I'm not judging you, though. Not at all. I don't have any kids yet, but it seems like it's harder in life with them. You seem like a wonderful mom towards Aniyah. She's very lucky to have you. I believe that you'll figure a better way out of this soon. But until then, just do what you have to do."

"Thank you so much, Armon. You have no idea how much I needed to hear that."

"No problem. And you have three more days before you leave. So three more days of feeling completely normal. You also have my number now if you ever wanna talk."

Armon gave me a gentle smile, then turning his attention back to his video game.

Being with Armon is nice, but I still can't wait to get back home so I can get to know Dave more...
