*ALEXIS' POV*
"How was your vacation, Miss Bryant?"Draco questioned me as he approached me backstage. I laughed and looked at him.
"Really? Now I'm Miss Bryant? You used to be all touchy-feely with me, and now what?"
"I'm just tryna keep it professional. You should be glad."
"Oh, trust me. I am. I was just a bit confused. But super happy you're not hovering over me anymore."
I turned back to the mirror, continuing to fix my hair. Draco gasped as he seen Queen walk backstage.
"Holy shit, baby girl. You aight?"
"Yeah, I just had a very bad fall down the stairs. I'll be fine."
"You still gonna go on tonight, looking all bruised up and shit?"
"I need my money, Draco. I have no choice."
"Well, you better cover up them bruises. No one wants to see a busted up looking stripper."
Draco patted Queen's back before walking away.
Queen groaned slightly at the pain she was still feeling, slowly sitting down in the seat next to me, starting on her makeup.
"Are you okay..? I heard what happened, he shouldn't have done that."
"How did you hear?"
"My boy — friend is best friend's with Clarence. Clarence called him while he was at my place."
"I'll be fine. Maybe I deserve it from being such a hoe."
"No matter what you do, you never deserve to be beat on by someone who's supposed to love you. I hope he gets a very long time in jail for what he's done."
"That means a lot, Alexis. Thanks."
"I'm just standing up for what's right."
"Hello, bitches! How was your holi — oh, shit. You okay, girl? You look like shit."
Kandi came walking over to us with a coffee. I nudged her a little bit in her stomach, causing her to groan.
"Damn, Lex! What was that for?!"
"You don't say that to someone who's been beat up!"
"My bad, it's none of my business. How were your holidays, though?"
"Mine was fine. Aniyah and I spend the week with my mom and brother."
"Ladies, show time in ten minutes!"
Draco called out. Suddenly, Alyssa came running backstage in a hurry.
"I was almost not about to come tonight!"
"What happened? You was getting dicked down?"
Kandi asked in a joking manner. Alyssa stuck her tongue out with a wink.
"Eooow! Hell yeah!"
