It had been two month since she last stepped into the tight-knit learning community.

She couldn't wait to see all of her friends.

It had been two month of her parents voices haunting her.

It had been two month of being hospitalised.

It has been two months of receiving and sending letters.

It had been two months.

Two months.

She was ready.

It was mid Winter so she wrapped up warm in a big coat, tights with leg warmers and her school shoes along with a short checkered skirt and a top with a jumper and a blazer to finish off. She finished off her back to school makeup. Chae-Young decided to cover the scar on her neck and collar bone with makeup as she didn't want to scare anyone.

She will show everyone.

Eventually.

Not just yet.

"Should I walk you to school?"

Chae-Young walked up to her younger brother with a piece of toast in her mouth and messes up his hair.

"I want to just see my friends today, they will get our parents off my mind!" Chae-Young replies.

He just smiles at her, he was happy that she finally that she finally had a grin plastered onto her face.

"See you tonight!"

Chae-Young got her bike and road to school. She couldn't stop smiling, not knowing if it was that she was finally out of the hospital or getting to see her friends sweet faces again.

No words could describe how much she missed them. They couldn't see her in the hospital as only family or legal guardians were allowed to see her.

She approached the front gate and locked her bike up before skipping into the grounds she used to dread to attend.

Chae-Young had her headphones on listening to her favourite cheer up tunes.

There is it.

Her form room.

She never thought she'd be so happy to see a room.

But she was.

Before stepping in Chae-Young took a deep breath in and out.

She stepped in.

Thirty familiar faces faced her.

First silence.

Then everyone crowded around her chanting "she's back!"

Chae-Young couldn't help but giggle. Hugging everyone and greeting them with warm smiles.

The teacher strides into the room making everyone sprint to their seats. He glanced around the room and stopped as he saw Chae-Young, who was waving at him. "Welcome back! We have all missed you!". She laughs as everyone agrees.

The teacher let everyone talk for a while and catch up with Chae-Young until the bell rings. Seo-Hyun interlinks her arm with Chae-Young's. She was so thrilled to see her best friend.

"You'll never guess what happened while you were gone!!" Seo-Hyun says eagerly.

"Let me guess.. you managed to get the guts to ask Byung-Ho out?"

"Even better! We're dating!"

They both quietly scream with excitement jumping up and down causing people to stare at them weird, but they didn't care, they were just happy to see each other.

"I'll introduce you at lunch, he's so sweet!"

Chae-Young smiles. She's glad to see her best friend so happy.
