CHAPTER SIXTEEN : 'home sweet home'

Chae-Young approaches her house, she turns around and waves at Heeseung who is standing at the end of the drive way smiling. When he sees her wave he walks up to her and hugs her. Chae-Young is surprised by the sudden action but hugs him back.

"Do you want to come in for a bit? I live home alone with my brother"

Heeseung was about to resist but Chae-Young pulls him in.

Chae-Young locks up the house while Heeseung is admiring the estate.

"It's not much, but it's home!"

"No it's so cozy I love it!"

Chae-Young smiles and leads Heeseung into the living room. Riki was sipping his hot chocolate, when he looks up and nearly chokes on it. He jumps to his feet and pulls Chae-Young behind him pointing at Heeseung.

"IMPOSTER WHO ARE YOU MAN? get back I say get back!"

Heeseung laughs, finds it cute that Chae-Young's little brother is so protective over his older sister. Chae-Young laughs as well cashing Riki to look around in confusion.

"This is Heeseung, he's my friend not an imposter!"

Riki looks him up and down, with a sassy attitude. "Oh yeah your that third wheel"

Chae-Young pushes Riki as she sees Heeseung disappointed face. "Me and Taewoo aren't dating! We're friends, nothing more. He's not my type."

"He was your type" Riki wiggles his eyebrows smirking.

"You do realise I can send you to bed early, you are the youngest?!"

Riki huffs and sighs bowing to Heeseung.

"Hello, I'm Riki what can I call you?"

"Heeseung or Heeseung Hyung is good kiddo!"

Riki gets annoyed. "I'm taller than you, Heeseung Hyung"

Heeseung rolls his eyes patting Riki on the shoulder.

"Would you like a drink?"

"Oh yes please, maybe a hot chocolate?"

Chae-Young laughs. "Of course, kiddo!"

"Yah! Hot chocolate is not just for kids!"

"Yes it is" Riki screams from upstairs.

As Chae-Young was making a hot chocolate for Heeseung, she starts to hum her favourite song.

Heeseung decides to come and see what she's doing, he leans against the kitchen wall and admires her.

"I like that song"

Chae-Young jumps as she gets startled. "You like Seventeen?"

"We'll I do now, because you like them!"

Chae-Young laughs hiding her flustered face.

"Go sit back down I'll be out in a minute!"

"No"

"Why?"

"I want to look at you longer"

Chae-Young keeps her smile in and points out the room. He sighs and does as she says.

"Your drink has been served!"

"Thank you maim!"

They both laugh. "Let's watch a movie" Chae-Young grabs the remote and starts scrolling for anything they find interesting.

Knock knock.

"I'll get it!" Riki shouts jogging down the stairs. He open the door. Chae-Young and Heeseung hear some muttering and then someone walks into the house. "Noona, Taewoo's here for you"

"Hey Ch- oh Heeseung what are you doing here?"

"We we're about to watch a movie, but what are you doing here?"

"I came to uh give your hoodie back"

"Oh thanks"

Heeseung looks at the pair confused why he has her hoodie.

Chae-You g pats on the space next to her on the sofa. "Want to join? I think we're going to watch a kdrama!"

Taewoo nods excitedly and sits down next to Chae-Young. Riki gets a big spotty blanket and gives it to them to share. Riki turns the lights off for the cinema atmospheric look and leaves upstairs to carry on doing what he was doing before.

HEESEUNG'S POV :

I couldn't keep my gaze off Chae-Young. I as barely paying attention to the kdrama, my full attention was on Chae-Young and her cute reactions. I see as Taewoo puts his arm around her shoulder. I press my tongue against the side of my mouth, trying to hold my anger in. An idea pops into my head. I grab Chae-Young's waist and pull her towards me, out of Taewoo's grin.

I see her look up at me but I focus my stare for once at the tv, pulling her closer into my embrace. I see Taewoo tense you and can't help but grin. I start to play with Chae-Young's hair. I can see her going red but I don't comment, I think it's cute and if I say anything she'll get even redder. Taewoo grabs her back but Chae-Young decides to resist and just sits in the middle.

Suddenly a weird scene comes up in the kdrama. I look away and can feel the awkwardness flooding into the room. It's so silent that I could hear Riki's foot tapping from upstairs. I see Taewoo looking at Chae-Young, who is still watching the scene.

Maybe she doesn't want to make eye contact with us, because of the weird scene. I understand.

Once the weird scene was over Chae-Young switches off the tv.

"Okay that's enough of that."
