"I made you a hot drink. Can you eat please?"Chae-Young doesn't reply. Riki sighs placing down the dinner he made for her and taking away the lunch he had put down.
"Heeseung keeps texting you"
"He's worried about you"
Her phone lights up. "Open that will you"
Riki nods opening the text. "He said he's coming round, what do I say"
"Say no"
Typing...
"He's coming Chae"
"I'm not in the mood, I don't want to see him"
Typing...
Knock knock
Riki open the door and invited the being in, he jogs straight to Chae-Young who is laying in her bed in darkness.
"Chae-Young is everything okay?"
Chae-Young doesn't say anything she stares into nothing. Riki turns on a side lamp, he was going to open the curtains but since it was late there wouldn't be much light.
Heeseung sighs and sits next to her on the bed taking her hand. "You're cold, put your blanket on"
Chae-Young resists. "I'm hot"
Heeseung and Riki exchange glances. It's Winter she shouldn't be hot.
"You should go home, Heeseung."
Heeseung doesn't respond. "I'm staying the night" he say's stubbornly.
Riki bows at Heeseung for caring about Chae-Young then leaves to go to bed. Heeseung approaches Chae-Young.
"Can I join?"
Chae-Young sighs but nods moving up for him. Heeseung smiles and lays on the bed making sure they aren't touching so she was comfortable. Heeseung lays on his back staring at the ceiling.
"I was worried about you"
"Why"
"Because you're my girl"
Chae-Young looks away from him avoiding his gaze on her.
"Do your parents know you're here?"
"I.. I don't have any parents Chae-Young"
Chae-Young gasps. "I'm so sorry I didn't-"
"It's okay gorgeous"
She blushes at the compliment.
"Heeseung"
"Yes?"
"Can you.. can you give me some advice?"
"Of course anything for my girl!"
Chae-Young smiles turning her body towards him meeting his gaze.
"You know about my mysterious letter boy?"
Heeseung smiles at the nickname, "you said 'my'?"
Chae-Young chuckles nodding. "One day he will be mine"
"Would you ever love someone you never knew?"
"How d'you know you don't know him?" He says smirking.
Chae-Young stays quiet.
"Do you love anyone Lee Heeseung?"
————————————CHAE-YOUNG POV :
The scorching sun rays pierce through the windows. I open my eyes and yawn. After making my bed I head downstairs. I grab some toast from the table, I spot my brother sticking his head into the fridge, I kick the back of his leg making him wobble a bit. "You better have not eaten my-", as I was heading to the sofa to sit down and I see Riki sitting down with his headphones on.
My eyes widen and I nearly choke on my toast, I turn around to see Heeseung rubbing his neck. I chock on my toast for real now. I bow quickly "I'm so sorry I thought you were my brother!".
Heeseung laughs and walks towards me patting my head. I watch as he goes to sit down next to Riki on the sofa. I completely forgot he stayed over last night. I check my phone and nearly choke again as I realise it was a school day and I wasn't nearly ready. I run up the stairs and shove a toothbrush into my mouth whilst trying to get dressed. I'm bad at multitasking but I have to in this situation.
After getting ready I hurry downstairs trying to tie my shoes. I hop along and bump into someone's chest.
I don't want to look up.
After last night I'm embarrassed to be around Heeseung!
I gaze up and see Heeseung who looks unbothered. I sigh and apologies once again. "No need to apologise". I roll my eyes and follow Riki out the house locking it once Heeseung leaves.

The walk to school was tense, it was awkward I mean last night we told each other almost everything. It felt like I could spill my guts out to him. But it was different, it was awkward between the two of us. He would try to make conversation but I found it weirdly hard to respond. When we arrived at school Taewoo ran up to me and stole me away. I saw Heeseung looked disappointed but he didn't say anything. I didn't have any lessons with him that day, so I only saw him at break and soon lunch.
I rush out of English to try and find Heeseung to eat with. I saw he had texted me telling me to meet him in the school library, so that's exactly what I did. I jogged up, this time I won't make it awkward. A bright smile spread across my face as I spot Heeseung. He was getting up from a seat and walked up to someone. A girl? I didn't think much of it and started to walk towards him, then I stopped. I couldn't see the girls face but she looked very familiar. She was trying to reach a book from the top and Heeseung leaned over her to get it. I saw her face. I saw her smile. I saw the way she looked at him giggling. She was flirting. Was he as well? The girl spotted me, I immediately knew that exact face. Kim Jangmi. Of course it was, I knew it was weird seeing Heeseung and her together at the mall I just didn't think much of it. As me and Jangmi's eyes met, she smirked and went on her tiptoes kissing Heeseung's cheek.
I furrow my eyebrows and the strawberry milk I had brought Heeseung, trudging out. I don't care to look back. I don't even think Heeseung noticed me there. I hid in the toilets for the rest of lunch. I ignore the texts that Heeseung sent me. Once the bell went I hide under my large hoodie rushing to class so I wouldn't see Jangmi or Heeseung. I stare at the floor and accidentally bump into someone. I don't care to look and just apologise making my way to class. I hear Heeseung shout my name but I just walk quicker.
