Chapter 2

Jimin just get married to Rosé just because she was broken so much at that time. When they get to know that Chaeryeong will be the next CEO of P.Dh Company before it becomes P.Cr Company. Rosé is so cold towards Chaeryeong.

Chaeryeong knows that everyone was mad at her at that time but she knows that it was the best choice at that time.

Chaeryeong POV's

It's been a long time since I was 19. That night should be the start of the best year ever for me because I'll turn 20 but... That night was the start of the worst year ever for not only me but my family too. Until now, the scene still comes into my mind every night. Yes, I'm happy but...

It's all turned down when the night is coming. That time, I was shocked. I thought that Eomma would have killed me that night.

But...

I was wrong. Not me but Eomma. Someone will kill her that night.

Flashback

12:00 pm

We were on the rooftop of the company. Eomma came towards me with a knife in her palm. She runs to me. Put the knife in my palm and kill herself with my hands that she holds with. I was shocked and panicked until she said, "I don't want to get killed by him..."

Cha Eunwoo!

I look at straight into her eyes and yes, I was true. It's him!

"Dahyun-ah, are you there?"

Appa! They're coming. I... I...

"Click!"

I pushed her and take away the knife. I look at her eyes and...

"I love you, Eomma," I whispered and stab her again.

"You're the best Eomma I have ever..." I whispered again and take away the knife again and...

I stab her again but...

Someone pulls me away from Eomma as she falls with blood pouring out of her body. And I stayed with my poker face as Appa, Aunty Rosé and Ryujin come to her. They cried so hard while Appa hugged and kiss mom's forehead for the last time before she really died in dad's arms.

While he still looks at me in disbelief which is Taehyun. Yes, he's the one who take me away from Eomma before I could stab her again. All of them brought Eomma and leave me alone on the rooftop. After 5 minutes, he came in and show his face in front of me.

"She should die with my own hand. Not you,"

I broke into tears. My tears fall so hard after hearing that voice. The man who was very obsessed with my mom! I hate him! I'll promise that I'll kill him! That time will be coming! I'll make sure of it!

"Since your Eomma died in the wrong hands, I should kill the person who killed my lover, right?"

"Try to do it, Cha Eunwoo! I'll make sure that one day, you'll die with my own hand! For my Eomma! I'll do anything!"

After that, I take the knife that I used to stab Eomma early. I wiped the knife that had mom's blood on it and prepared to play knife with him. He makes the first move. Pushed me so hard to the wall that make my body feel hurt, weak and trembling. The same spots where mom's died.

"Let's go back home now! Tell me what exactly happened!!!" he said as he look so mad.

At Taehyun's mansion

Chaeryeong tells everything that actually happened and why she did that. She's now crying so hard in Taehyun's arms. He feels so sad after knowing the real story. He felt so sorry because he can't do anything at that time because he did really love her.

If he knows about it early, he will help her and her mom.

"I'm sorry... I'm so sorry, Chaer... I can't do anything... Sorry..." he said gently caressing Chaeryeong while hugging her tight.

"Now... What should I do...? Everyone must really hate me now... After what happened... I didn't know if I can live with them anymore... If only they know the reality of it..." she said still breaking into tears.

"Hey... Remember this! If they push you... I'm here to pull you back... I love you, Chaeryeong. I love you. I'll always be with you until death breaks us apart. I'm always here for you. You're so strong. You will do anything just for your family. You fulfilled your mom's last wish before she died even though it was difficult for you to accept it. You didn't do anything wrong. "What are you doing here? At the balcony and left me alone on the bed. Are you having trouble sleeping again? Because of the nightmare again," Taehyun said as he hugged Chaeryeong from behind. "Taehyun, I'm scared. Because of the nightmare and..." she said facing him.

"And...?"

"C-Can you follow me to the office tomorrow morning? I have something to show,"

"10:30 am,"

"Okay,"

Finally, they got in bed and continue to sleep.

The next day

At the P.Cr Company

"Are you crazy? I'll not sign in,"

"Ms Park, you must sign in. If you're not, then our company will be got into big trouble," said her secretary.

"I didn't care! I don't want to get engaged by a contract! And I already have someone that I truly love!" said Chaeryeong as she threw the contract on the floor.

"Are you really sure that you'll not sign the contract?"

"You're such a bastard, Cha Eunwoo! How did you come in!? Who allowed you to enter my office!? Get out, now!" she said.
