Chapter 12

7:00 pm

"Happy birthday to you~ Happy birthday to you~~ Happy birthday to Kang Taehyun~~~ Happy birthday to you~~~ Woo! Blow the candle and make a wish, Babe!" said Chaeryeong as they make a simple party at a restaurant privately.

"Thanks, Baby," Taehyun said excitedly. "This your birthday gift from your wife. This is your birthday gift from your son," Chaeryeong said putting the gift from them on the table. "Simple from us," Jaydie said.

"Thanks, this is so precious," Taehyun said. "Open it now!" Chaeryeong and Jaydie said. Taehyun's reaction to her gift was so emotional that he gladly thanked Jaydie for his gift.

14th February

"Happy Valentines Day, Babe,"

"Happy Valentines Day too, Baby,"

"Have fun, today!"

"Okay!"

Today, Chaeryeong and Taehyun will spend a day just for them while Jaydie goes to school with Yeonji's parents which is Yeonjun and Yeji. Chaeryeong already ask Jaydie if he want to have a sleepover at Choi's mansion and excitedly he accepted.

Gladly that Yeonji's parents are okay with the idea because she did really want to spend a day just with him. "Let's have breakfast outside! Today, I'll pay for everything! Let's go, Babe!" Chaeryeong said excitedly.

She wants him to know everything about what exactly happened to her.

At a cafe

"Kang Taehyun, today is your special day. You'll have a lot of chances to ask me about everything for today from... Now!" she said looking at him full of love. "Okay! My first request for today is... Tell me about our daughter" he asked.

"I only managed to get her pregnant for a month at the Cha's mansion. While in the hospital, the doctor told me that the first pregnancy had been miscarried. After a few months, I was told about the second pregnancy which was only three weeks old.

After that, I decided to run. I know it's going to be hard but... I also know that I need to run away from the problems that exist for the sake of this baby first. I don't want to make the same mistake and promise to come home when the time comes," she explained.

"For sure, your final decision will not change," he said. "Yes," she replied. "What did you do while you were pregnant with Jaydie?" he asked. "I spend time alone. Try to think positively and change the last decision. But...

It's too hard because I already have a grudge. For sure, I miss you too much with every passing time. I'm lucky because I have Kai and Yuna who take care of me all the time I'm pregnant. Yuna puts up with my behaviour while Kai buys all kinds of food that I crave.

I'm so grateful. After giving birth to Jaydie, every night I'll be on the balcony. Crying because of longing, several times trying to give up and kill myself. I'd be lying if I said that I never regretted it. Almost every day I feel so sorry for not being with you.

My love for you is too big and I love you too much. I really hope that I will stop and... Stay," she said while holding her tears. "What did you do while you were there?" he asked while drinking his coffee.

For the rest of the day, they enjoyed spending time together. With that, little by little she was able to calm herself down, have fun and think very positively. She realizes and knows that she will always be happy when she is with him.

Despite being in a difficult situation, he always made her heart happy. Every time she sees his smile, she will always remember her promise to him. Her promise at that time was very sincere.

Promise that she will never leave a man like that because she is very lucky to have a man who loves her very much regardless of all her shortcomings that she has.

12:00 pm

"This is my favourite! Thanks, Baby!" Taehyun said while caressing Chaeryeong's cheek. He always wants to make her feel his love with every touch of him.

'I love you, Kang Taehyun. You made me the luckiest woman ever!' she thought while looking at him full of love. They're now having lunch at a fancy restaurant. "Let's eat now. I'm starving!" she said as they start eating their food.

"Let's go to a park after this and have dinner at the beach. I want to spend good memories with you. Just you!" she said. "Jaydie might get jealous of me because of your too much love for me," he said while grinning.

"What can he do? You're the first one who I have, not him. He must know, because of our love, he had a chance to live in this world," she said as he shook his head happily.

At a park

Taehyun and Chaeryeong were walking hand in hand while enjoying the fresh air. After a few minutes, they stopped and sat on the bench provided. There are several couples having a picnic.

Not many people are in the park at this time because of working hours. She gently rested her head on his shoulder while the wind blew softly. The atmosphere at that time was very peaceful and calming.

He was just calm watching her close her eyes. Now, he just wanted to stop time and stay like this. They don't care about other people. Just want to be there for each other.

"Do you want to stay at the hotel nearby the beach?" he asked. "Do you want to? I didn't care. We can buy some shirts, have dinner and check in at the hotel. The next day, we can have breakfast before checking out.

Have some time for us at the mall and go back to your mansion," she said. "So you already planned everything. Correction," he said then looked at her in the eyes.

"Our mansion..."
