Chapter 11

The phrase that they once did for each other in Japan is becoming true.

"I'll love you eternally, Chaeryeong,"

"I'll love you eternally, Taehyun,"

That was the start of their relationship. They were having a big family holiday with Kang's family and Lee's family. Exactly at 7 pm, Taehyun make a proposal to confess his feeling towards Chaeryeong and gladly... She accepts it!

At the same time, she also confesses her feeling towards him. That was a very memorable day for them.

After 5 months

In the morning, Taehyun had already woken up from his sleep and realized that there was a woman who had just come out from his bathroom wearing a bathrobe.

"Happy 34th Birthday, Chagiya?"

"C-Chaeryeong!"

Taehyun didn't care about how he looked now and just ran towards her. Hugging her so tight think that she will be gone soon.

"Don't worry, Babe. I won't run away from you for now,"

"I love you, Chaeryeong,"

"I love you too, Taehyun,"

She hugs him back and releases all of her feelings to him. They slowly shedding in tears silently.

"Let me go, Taehyun. You should wash and go to the office," she said trying to release herself. "No! I don't want to let you go. I don't want to go to the office. I just want to stay with you," he said didn't allow her to go.

"Then, how about your work?" she asked. I can finish it at home with you," he said. "But, at least you should go wash," she tells him. "Plus, send me to the school," Jaydie said interrupting their moment before waiting for his dad at the car garage.

He didn't feel like want to talking or hugging his mommy. He was mad at her. 'She left Appa just like that and come back just like nothing happen before. She shouldn't do like that,' thought Jaydie.

Yes, since Chaeryeong left him with Taehyun, he did never miss her. Because... He was hurting from looking at his dad's tears throughout the year. After a few minutes, Taehyun comes with a casual look while holding hands with his wife.

Now, Chaeryeong is his wife on paper. They do not plan to have a large wedding ceremony, but only a private one. Soon... Just for their little family. Only Taehyun, Chaeryeong and Jaydie. Meanwhile, Jaydie starts to feel annoyed with his mom.

Deep in his heart, he was very happy for them. But... He still can't forget every time his dad will cry all alone at the midnight. He also knows that his mom once stays in the same situation as his dad. But...

'This is what she choose and face through the past years. It was all her decision. She's the one who chooses it to happen. So, it is all of her fault,' he thought again before entering the car.

While Taehyun was driving, Chaeryeong didn't say anything and just held Taehyun's hand. They keep quiet and it is not a comfortable one. Because they know, something is wrong with their son today. They can feel the tension in the car.

Jaydie didn't say anything. But, his attitude this morning is quite cold and rude for them. Usually, he'll hug them and ask them "How's your morning?" But, today, he just keeps silent.

At the school

"Pick me up at 2 pm. I want to spend time with Yeonji," Jaydie said getting out of the car without looking at them. "Have fun!" Chaeryeong said without reply. "You know what, let's go to the mall," Taehyun said. "Yeah," she replied.

In the mall

At a cafe

"I think he gets mad at me. But, for what?" Chaeryeong asked. "Jealousy?" Taehyun asked. "Maybe... But, I'm thinking about another reason..." she said.

"Did something happen when I was not here? The bad one," she asked again but he just keep silent and she noticed it. "Babe, you know that you can tell me those things right? Tell me... I must know about it too..." she said.

"No, I think I know the reason why he became like that. I can handle it. Don't worry about it and enjoy..."

'Before you left me again... Forever..." he thought. That day, the two of them were so happy to be with each other without any interruption and they love it. They already set up everything for what to do in a year.

2:00 pm

"How was your school today?"

"Fun! Yeonji and I are the first ones who finish the class assignment. We also already finish all of the homework that was given by the teachers. We're a good team!"

"You shouldn't be mad at her just because she hurt me a lot. She'll be overthinking it,"

"But, she deserves it," replied Jaydie seriously as he understand who is 'her'. "You'll regret it, soon. Trust me," Taehyun said as Jaydie immediately looked at him. "Are you serious?" he asked as they finally arrived at the mansion.

"Yes! I'm serious, Kang Taeyeong," Taehyun said while looking straight into his eyes making Jaydie scared. "Give me some time, please," he said. "This week. Don't tell your Eomma about what happened between us. I don't want her to know about it," he reminds him.

"Okay, Appa. Anyway, happy birthday," he replied as they get out of the car. Kang Taeyeong is Jaydie's Korean name. It was given by Taehyun and he already told Chaeryeong about that.

Jaydie knows that his dad will never lie to him if he called him using his full Korean name. It is because of his dad's eyes. It shows the seriousness in his eyes and Jaydie is scared of it.

His Korean name was once used by his dad when he get mad or angry because of Jaydie.
